Product Evaluation
a. Security
This objective has been met.
The main form contains two fields in which the medical visitor inserts his username
and password. In case either of these are incorrect, a window will pop up stating that
the password is incorrect. This ensures that only them are able to have access to the
information according to their ID and territory.
a. Easy access (easy to find a specific element)
This objective has been met.
The forms are very well organized and have buttons that ensure their easy use. The
medical visitor is guided through every section of the database only by reading the
labels. Queries allow the easy search of a specific element.
a. Capable of storing all the requested information
This objective has been met.
All of the information requested by the client (doctors, hospitals and medications
information) is stored in the tables and reflected in the forms and reports.
a. Input and reports
This objective has been met.
The forms and reports were created following the product design and are able to
display all the necessary data. They ensure the accessibility of the database and
prove its easy use.

Recommendations for future development


The database was very well developed and greatly approved by the client.
Now, medical visitors have a way of storing the information from the visit. They have

access through their username and password and are directed to their profile in
which they can see their respective hospitals and the visits for each of the doctors in
those hospitals. Also, the drugs are available in a report as well as a description and
an image. For future development, the database could include:
- The ability to automatically see in the visit form, which medications have already
been given to each doctor.
- Give each doctor limited access in order to be able to consult the medications
report anytime it was necessary.
- Allow the medical visitors to review multiple visits at the same time for analysis.
- The ability to make a relation between the speciality of the doctor and the
medication that should be prescribed according to the speciality of the doctor of
the hospital.
- The ability to log out of the session after a specific time period for security matters.
The database contained every necessary aspect to meet the main purpose of
the client, promote the products of Rimsa Laboratories. The points listed above, are
other improvements that could be done for future development, in order to take the
database to a further level. The client believes that all of the objectives have been
met since it is a secure database capable of storing information in a the most
organized way.
