information from the annual meeting, workshops, and programs
on the school website, when possible, to help parents work with
their children to improve their childrens achievement.
Jointly develop with school staff, eligible parents, and
students a school-parent compact that outlines how parents, the
entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility
for improved student achievement.
Listen and respond to parents requests for additional support
for parental involvement activities.
Provide a Parent Resource Center and a computer parents
may use to track student progress and access materials to help
their children improve achievement.

how to reach out to, and communicate with parents; implement
and coordinate parent programs; and build ties between home
and school.
Provide parents individual student assessment results and
explain how to interpret the results.
Provide a school calendar yearly and quarterly to encourage
participation in the Title I Parent In-volvement Committee,
trainings, and workshops
Communicate using the following methods and tools to
provide families with timely information regarding events and
workshops offered through the Title I program: school marquee,

Issue progress reports/report cards every nine weeks to
inform parents of their students behavior and academic
progress.

What is a School Plan for Shared Student

Achievement?
Loganville Elementary is a Title I School as part of the
Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965
(ESEA). All Title I schools must jointly develop with
parents a written parental involvement policy. This
policy describes how Loganville Elementary will provide

opportunities to improve parent engagement to

support student learning.
How is it developed? Loganville Elementary
welcomes parent input and comments at any
time regarding the policy. Parent feedback is
used to review the policy and revisions are
made each year. Parents can find a Feedback
form on the bottom of this paper, the school
website (www.loganvilleelementary.org), or the
school office.
Who is it for? All students and their families
are encouraged and invited to fully participate
in the opportunities described in this plan.
Loganville Elementary will provide full
opportunity for the participation of parents with
limited English, parents with disabilities, and
parents of migratory children.
Where is it available? Every student will
receive a copy of the plan at the beginning of the
school year. Parents can view or retrieve a copy
of the plan in the Parent Resource Center or
from the school website. The plan will be
distributed to parents at the Title I Annual
Meeting and at Title I Parental Involvement
meetings throughout the year.
