The game that I have chosen to use for the following examples is kickball.

I will integrate all

eight types of multiple intelligences into the game of kickball.
Body-Kinesthetic Intelligence
A regular game of kickball will satisfy the need of children who are body-kinesthetic smart.
These children want to use their bodies and kickball allows them an outlet to do so.
Linguistic Intelligence
A way to incorporate linguistic intelligence is to integrate spelling into the game of kickball.
When the student steps up to kick, the teacher would ask the students to spell a word before
being allowed to kick the ball.
Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
A way to incorporate logical-mathematical intelligence into kickball would to be to borrow the
same idea from spelling kickball. Instead of asking for the student to spell a word, the student
would solve a math problem. This would be a good idea when learning things like times tables.
Musical Intelligence
A way to incorporate musical intelligence into the game of kickball would be to ask the students
in the dug out, waiting to kick, to sing and make up chants for the member of their team kicking.
This would be much like the girls on softball teams sing songs for the member of their team
batting.
Spatial Intelligence
A way to incorporate spatial intelligence into the game of kickball would be to ask the students
to create a map of how they will place their teammates out in the field while playing outfield.
The students will assign each member of their team to a position to play and create a map of it.
Naturalist Intelligence
A way to incorporate naturalist intelligence would be to create nature flashcards. When the
student goes up to kick, the teacher will show a flashcard containing a nature element and ask the
child to identify it. This would be a good idea for when learning different types of clouds or
leafs.
Interpersonal Intelligence
A way to incorporate interpersonal intelligence would be to make the children communicate and
act as a team. Each team would have a leader, who would be in charge of watching and helping
the other children who may be frustrated or upset about the game. Before beginning the game,
the class will have a discussion about working as a team.
Intrapersonal Intelligence
A way to incorporate intrapersonal intelligence would be to ask the students to create a list of
strengths and weaknesses about themselves while playing the game of kick ball. Then the
students would evaluate their skills while playing kick ball and decide where they would best be
placed. Such as if a student is not good at catching, maybe they should play a less active area of
the field.
