Conduct and Teacher Expectations

1. The #1 expectation is that everyone will show respect for themselves and others, as well as the classroom
and common areas.
2. The path to happiness is getting along with others. Group work and discussion is an important aspect
of learning in this course, and it is expected that students will work with each other toward common
learning goals.
3. Because this course will involve lab work, safety in the laboratory is another important expectation.
Safety information will be gone over before every lab activity. Those found not abiding by the safety rules
set forth in the Safety Contract will not be allowed to participate.
4. Students are expected to find out what they missed during an absence. Both student and teacher will
agree upon an acceptable due date for absent work.

Pass Policy
Students will be able to leave the room if given teacher permission. Everyone will be responsible for signing out
on the hall pass log and obtaining a physical pass from the teacher. You are not allowed to leave 15 minutes after
class has started or 15 minutes prior to class ending.
