across Europe.
Partners share exisCng educaConal
programmes in the elds of so6 skills trainings
and parent educaCon focusing on leadership,
coaching, emo1onal intelligence, Step-by-
Step programme, Paren1ng-by-Connec1on
and Sustainable Paren1ng, with the aim of
adopCng exisCng tools to the needs and
contexts of parents involved with partner
organisaCons and to support further training in
these areas.

With the aim of arriving at a common
understanding of the embercombe approach to
rela0ng with children that can be pracCsed, shared
and disseminated.

At Embercombe for last 6 years.
Aim - supporCng parents to resource themselves
by tapping into what Embercombe oers - the
land, the sense of community, the sense of
purpose
PLUS held Cme for reconnecCng with themselves.
ParenCng is as demanding as it is rewarding - and
o6en unvalued and unseen in our prot driven
culture.
Children need 24/7 aUenCon
Raising the next generaCon to be funcConal,
thinking, hearWul condent beings.

Not prescripCve about life-style choices - eg co-
sleeping, school choices, screens etc
Focuses on the importance of ConnecCon - for children
(secure aUachment) and for parents (parenCng can be
very isolaCng)
Simple and profound.
Grew out of Peace Movement and Co-counselling.
Reaches all income brackets.
Oers 6 Listening Tools - 2 for parents (Listening
Partnerships and Parent Support Groups) and 4 with
children (Staylistening, Special Time, Se_ng Limits,
Playlistening).

Staylistening and Listening Partnerships
4. Violence and Aggression - Change the Environment not the
Behaviour - And Se_ng Loving Limits
5. DisCnguishing Human Beings and Human Becomings -
Parent/Adult Leadership and Spiritual Equality: keeping the
relaConship both safe and creaCve. Play Listening
6. Modelling as children's main teacher - Children learn what
they see - Be the Change. Bringing our meeCngs to a close
