Have you ever dreamt being a scientist? Do you have any scientific attitudes like
curiosity, careful judgment, open-mindedness, critical mindedness, objectivity, rationality
and intellectual honesty? Lets find out each one of it.
Curiosity is an attitude which youre curious on how everything works. Its like me
having a new gadget and you have this eagerness to find out how does this thing works.
Careful judgment is an attitude that every each of us may have. Having this
attitude, every each one of us will have a better life.
On the open mindedness, I can relate it to myself on my perspective in LGBT. Im
not a gay, lesbian, bisexual, nor does transsexual but I respect all of them. My family
always rebukes them but, I always tell them to have an open mind to understand their
situation.
Critical mindedness is an attitude that a scientist may have because you may
able to evaluate some critical analysis on a problem. I admit that I dont have this
attitude.
Objectivity is an attitude that you are willing to interpret data that you have
gathered.
Rationality is an attitude of a scientist which a scientist believes that everything
happens for a reason. A reason, even if it is good or bad, the result will be good for the
data you have gathered.

Intellectual honesty is an attitude on being honest on the data you gather. You
cant finagle the data because it will have an effect on your result.
If you have any of these scientific attitudes, then you should consider yourself a
scientist!
And the question on having any expectation on this subject then, I dont have any
expectation on this subject. You know why? Because, having expectations may lead to
disappointment. I want my whole semester with Sir Aljo to be unexpected.
