Dear
Superintendent,
Please
accept
this
letter
as
an
indication
for
my
desire
to
be
considered
as
the
Director
of
Curriculum
within
your
school
district.
As
a
current
elementary
principal,
the
leadership
skills
I
have
acquired
have
influenced
me
to
develop
myself
as
a
strong
strategic
and
instructional
leader
within
the
school
building.
I
continuously
partner
with
teachers,
students,
and
parents
to
focus
on
student
learning
and
achievement.
The
skills
I
have
gained
from
my
experiences
have
supported
me
in
becoming
the
leader
I
am
today.
As
a
current
elementary
principal,
I
have
the
opportunity
to
support
all
staff,
students,
and
parents
individually
and
as
a
team.
I
continue
to
learn
and
gain
information
through
professional
development
opportunities,
learning
teams,
and
research.
As
a
Director
of
Curriculum,
I
will
continue
to
expand
and
further
my
leadership
skills
as
I
learn
the
philosophies
of
all
aspects
of
the
district
including
the
secondary
level,
and
those
specialized
areas,
including
but
not
limited
to,
High
Ability
Learner,
English
Language
Learners,
Title
1,
and
Preschool.
I
am
looking
forward
to
working
collaboratively
with
district
administrators,
principals,
teachers,
and
community
members
on
current
and
existing
initiatives
to
further
increase
student
achievement
and
success.
As
an
elementary
principal,
my
philosophy
of
education
and
leadership
will
continue
to
expand
as
I
further
develop
myself
as
a
district
leader.
My
leadership
philosophy
is
to
increase
educational
awareness
and
research
with
my
district-level
administrators,
staff,
and
community
stakeholders.
My
administrative
goal
is
to
continue
to
demonstrate
and
execute
student-
centered
learning
and
achievement.
In
addition,
my
goal
is
to
broaden
the
minds
of
school
administrators,
teachers,
students,
parents,
and
community
stakeholders
as
we
teach
them
to
do
great
things
through
expansion
of
thought,
perspective,
and
ability
while
focusing
on
student
success.
I
am
committed
to
being
a
dynamic
administrator
and
build
capacity
for
leadership
within
the
district
and
building
level.
I
believe
this
opportunity
will
further
develop
my
skills,
qualifications,
and
understanding
of
what
is
required
to
be
an
excellent
leader.
More
than
that,
it
will
offer
me
the
opportunity
to
expand
my
passion
to
further
myself
as
an
administrator
within
your
school
district.
I
am
confident
our
district
will
continue
to
flourish
with
its
focus
on
student
learning
and
achievement
from
Pre-Kindergarten
through
12th
grade,
and
beyond.
Thank
you
for
your
consideration
as
a
potential
candidate
for
the
Director
of
Curriculum
position.
Sincerely,
Amber
Johnson
