INTRODUCTIONS MYSELF AND THEMSELVES:


Talk about myself, age, interests and why a FCE teacher?
Then, they have to mention:
-name
-age
- why FCE ?
- likes
- dislikes
The other classmates have to listen and write down all the things they have in common with the
others, and mention them in their presentation.
INTRODUCE CONTENTS:
It's an intensive course and as the nature of its name indicates, the course is going to be very
intensive with the aim of passing the exam.

MOCK EXAMS- Every thrusday and Friday official exam. Real time, real structure, real
situation.
Thursday Listening + Speaking
Friday Writing + Reading.
From Monday to Wednesday Training + strategies.
LISTENING (4 PARTS)
SPEAKING ( 4 PARTS)
READING ( 7 PARTS) * USE OF ENGLISH INCLUDED IN HERE.
WRITING (2 PARTS)
* From monday to wednesday we will practise how to face and manage each part, so when you sit
in front of the exam, you know how to manage each part, the strategies you have to use, etc.
** Show students now each part, and explain briefly what they have to do.

EXPLAIN STRATEGIES
FCE has two types of strategies, on the one hand the general ones and on the other hand the ones
each part has.
GENERAL ONES:
In general listening and reading are more unpredictable, we can't control what they are going to ask
us. So, it's diffucult to study it, it is advisable to practise these two parts. Nevertheless, preaparing
writing and speaking very good, it guarantees a good performance in the exam. So, let's go ahead.
Let's preparw Writing and speaking deeply in order to do it perfectly.

READING PART 1 : I will do it with students. I will help them to find false friends, rephomulate,
etc.
READING PART 1 : MULTIPLE CHOICE
Try to find examples with the options given.
Watch out! Prepositions and false friends
Look before and after the gap.
Rephormulate if necessary
PRACTISE IT WITH TEXT 1 ( TEACHERS' RESOURCES)

LISTENING PART 1: I will do it with students. I will help them to listen to the tune,
synonims, etc.
LISTENING PART 1: 8 DIFFERENT CONVERSATIONS
LISTEN FOR THE CONTEXT
Tunes, in this excersise are specially important.
All the options will be mentioned. So listen for specific information,
Look for synonims.
PRACTISE WITH THE FOLLOWING LISTENING
* PROVIDE FEEDBACK.
