Excel Date Format

For Heat Map we should have data in excel. Three major points
are as;
1. Site Level Data should be entered (e.g.; IIB012)
2. Site Lat/Long must be entered. (Location)
3. Data should be in terms of count (i.e numerical)

Create Points

Open excel sheet in MapInfo

In Name Range Work Sheet containing required data should
be selected
Check the Checkbox Use Row Above

Create Points
click Ok to proceed the excel information window, then this
pop up window shall open

After Selecting OK this window will appear

Create Points
In scale bar select Table then select create points. This
window should appear
In Get X Long entered and in Get Y Lat entered.(Lat/Long)

After following all these steps a tab file has been created in the
root folder from where excel sheet has been opened.
Open the newly created tab file

Create Thematic Map

In the scale bar open Map and then create thematic map

Select Grid the last option and then Grid TIN Default

Select the required Tab file, then column to be plotted as Grid
in the Field Option

For Radius of the grid use settings Tab
For selection of color and ranges use Styles Tab

For specified value ranges select Equal Value Ranges in the
options
