- The present simple
FORM:
- Positive:
I/you/we/they + V (work/study)
He/she/it + V-s/V-es (works/studies)
- Negative:
I/you/we/they + do not (dont) + V

- Questions and short answers:
Do I/you/we/they + V ...?
Does he/she/it + V ...?
USE:
The present simple is used to describe a habit, a repeated action in the present. The adverbs are often used in the
present simple: always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, rarely, never, every day/week/month ...
- Present the present continuous
FORM:
- Positive:

You/we/they are + V-ing (studying)
He/she/it is
- Negative:

You/we/they are + not V-ing (not studying)

USE:
The present continuous is used to describe an action happening at the moment of speaking. The adverbs are often
used in the present continuous: now, right now, at present, at the moment ...
