An Introduction to Orthomolecular Medicine

This presentation offers a basic introduction to Orthomolecular
Medicine, an approach that uses diet and supplementation to address
nutritional deficiencies that may cause mental illnesses such as schizo-
phrenia and anxiety. Following the presentation, we will watch a 15 min
version of the ISF's documentary “Masks of Madness: The Science of
Healing," featuring practitioners and patients using this therapy.

Mental Health Regained

This presentation will look at specific neurotransmitter deficien-
cies, hormonal imbalances and environmental influences related to
mood disorders with greatest emphasis on depression. An introduc-
tion will be given into addressing these issues, improving health
status and resolving symptoms with nutritional therapy under the
guidance of a Naturopathic Doctor.
