Seminar Grade
Self -Asses: From looking at the Seminar Grading Rubric I think that I have
earned an A. On the Grading rubric there are 5 categories and I have hit all of
them with only a few things left out. I started off both Seminars that I was in with
restating the question at hand. This brought everyone to know what topic we
were discussing. With every time that I added to the discussion It was an
addition of evidence to either back someone up or show a new idea. If I didnt
have evidence it was a clarification of what someone had said. Using the set up
step back technique didnt rule the conversation with someone. I was very
prepared for this seminar with my four main questions that I researched and all
of my evidence ready to read. This is why I believe I have earned an Ain this
Seminar.
Self-Critique: In todays seminar I think I was very well prepared. My focus was
on the topic and in the group. We all kept moving into other ideas and solutions
of the question proposed. Another thing that the group as well as I did well was
provide supporting evidence for each other so it wasnt just claims being made.
Things that I can work on in future seminars is add more people to the discussion
to make sure to get there perspectives. One other thing I need to improve on is
not jumbling my words together and make sure my statement was understood.
