Dear Parents, This fall, | is hosting Operation Christmas Child; an organization * that delivers shoebox gifts to children in Central and South America. This is a tremendous opportunity not only to change lives in a meaningful and powerful way with very little effort on our part, but also to bring the Good News and true meaning of Christmas to children in Central and South America. Each grade of our school will collaborate together to complete as many boxes as we can. The school goal is to send 110 boxes. On the backside of this sheet are suggestions of what can go ina box. The boxes are due Friday, Nov 7". On the checklist sheet provided, please indicate what items your child is able to bring and the quantity of items. To cover the cost of transportation, Samaritan’s Purse has requested that $7 be given with each box to cover the transportation fee. We would ask that you give your child a toonie to bring to school to help cover the cost. If you can bring more that would be wonderful.
