Ornithologists believed that a macaw called Spix was become
extinct. But a team of ornithologists found a male Spix in Brazil. So
they have undergone a female Spix, - that was in captivity- to live in
the wild life with the male one. This parrot will be released and it is
strongly believed that the male Spix will teach the female how to
live alone. They also believe that the parrots will repopulate the
neighborhood with Spixs macaws. When the male parrot spotted,
ornithologists were called to map out a strategy for the birds
preservation. An ornithologist coaxed the female parrot to eat a kind
of seeds in order to strengthen. The male parrot wants to survive
and he has been keeping company with a female Illigers macaw.
Spix is very important for people who there and they hope that
Spixs macaw will again fly there.
