Radiologic Technology Meeting Minutes

Previous topics:
1. The new student interviews are all set up. David has the rubrics, and Rebecca has
made a selection rotation and is coordinating with carol on the food and tracking
which CIs are planning to attend.
New topics:
1. We are doing Mid-semester checkup/advising meeting next week with all the first
year students. This is an opportunity to talk with student about how the program is
going and if there are any concerns with their grades or really anything else. For
example we have one student how is very stressed an emotional all of the time
and we are thinking that we should cover the professional conduct form with her.
Action

We each set up times to meet with students and David will talk with
Joy about the Professional conduct document.

2. Angela Harvey is meeting with David at 1:00 to update the admission links on our
web page.
Action

Go through the web page and make the required changes. Rebecca
and Lisa have been invited to join.

3. We have received the new 13th edition to Merrills and have received a copy for
each of the CIs as well. The Patient care and Imaging books also have new edition,
but we havent received them yet.
Action

Rebecca will start updating the Procedures class for this fall. When
the other books arrive the courses they are used for will need to be
updated.

4. We are still waiting for all the nominees for the clinical in excellence award and we
have a couple candidates for the academic award but have made a final choice yet.
Action

Rebecca will follow up with the CI on their nominations, only 5 have

responded so far.
