1. Anticipatory set: had a power point up with a Starry Night showing
2. State Objectives: had an example of watercolor up on the whiteboard 3. Input: Showed us a power point on landscape and then got into showings us about the landscape and the Savannah, and what animals you might see in the Savannah. Also showed us a game on PBSkids.org about what the Savannah is like as well as visually seeing the animals in action in the Savannah. 4. Demonstration: Demonstrated how to begin the watercolor 5. Understanding: Made sure verbally that we understood how to do the watercolor 6. Independent Practice: Began by drawing the animals onto the multimedia paper 7. Went over pencil with a colored crayon of your choice 8. Begin by applying watercolor to multimedia paper 9. Closure: Have a class discussion about what went well and what we struggled with in our paintings. Is there something that they would change or improve?
