Psalm Thirty-Seven - A Psalm of David

Part-Three

Psalm 37:26
He is ever merciful and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
We serve a merciful God, full of kindness, compassion, understanding, and love that passeth
all understanding. He blesses his seed and always lendeth a hand to those in need.

Psalm 37:27
Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
David is saying of God almighty, when you depart from evil and do good; you have an
everlasting life with Him.

Psalm 37:28
For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for
ever: but the seed of the wicked will be cut off.

God is the judge, not man, and He will always be there for us and He will always keep us
safe.
Psalm 37:29
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell there in for ever.
Again and again God tells us that the meek shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 37:30
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

The righteous are led of the Spirit of God, they have wisdom and they speak of the judgment
of the Lord.
Psalm 37:31
The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
When you hide the word of God in your heart you will never backslide.
David said: Psalm 119:11
Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 37:32
The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
The devil comes to rob steal and destroy but; Greater is He that is in you than he that is in
the world.
Psalm 37:33
The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
God is always there when you need him.

Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things,
which thou knowest not.
Psalm 37:34
Wait on the Lord and keep his way, and he exalt thee to inherit the land: when the
wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
Wait on the Lord, dont get ahead of him but wait, and always keep his ways; and you will
inherit his promises you shall see them coming to pass.
Praise God!!

Psalm 37:35
I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay
tree.
Psalm 37:36
Yet he passed away, and lo, he was not; yea, I sought him, but he could not be
found.

The wicked appear like he has great power but he is the counterfeiter and soon he passes
away.
Psalm 37:37
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Mark the perfect and upright man, you will see, that at the end there is the peace of the Lord
in him.
Psalm 37:38
But the transgressions shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be
cut off.
Together the wicked will be cut off-Birds of the feather, flock together.

Psalm 37:39
But the saturation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
The Lord is our Salvation our Strength and our Shield!!

Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth: and with my song will I praise him.

Psalm 37:40
And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the
wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

God is our Deliverer

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path.
