Electronics Engineering Technologists


This program is a biomedical engineering technology program
with a strong foundation with electronics. Students in this
program receive training in areas of biomedical instruments,
there are seven objectives students will need to know when
graduating this program.
A high school graduation certificate with a 60% average in
English (3201 or 3202) Mathmatics (Advanced: 2200, 3200 or
academic: 2201,3201) Science (Must have two of the four
options: Biology: 3201, Physics: 3204, chemistry: 3202, Earth
Systems: 3209)
The program is offered at the college of the North Atlantic (St
Johns Ridge Road)
This program is a three year program starting in September
Some opportunities this program gives students is work force in
the employment of hospital biomedical engineering departments,
graduates with two years of progressive work are eligible to
receive the designation of professional technologist)
Students have the potential to gain a national salary of $52,153
or $53,000 per year depending on what job title they decide on

Architectural Engineering Technology


Every student is made to learn the latest technology. Computers
are used as a tool in problem solving in many technical courses.
Microcomputers, computer aided drafting (CAD) equipment, and
a variety of architectural and engineering software packages are
made available to students to carry out their projects and
assignments.
To get into the program you will need a graduation certificate
with a 60% average with the high school courses called, English:
3201 or 3202, Math: Advanced: 2200, 3200 Academic 2201,
3201, Science (most have two of the four) Biology: 3201, Physics:
3204, Chemistry: 3202, Earth Systems: 3209)

Computer Systems and Networking


This program focuses on the skills, competencies and attitudes
required to research, design, install and maintain computer
systems and network infrastructure in a highly available and
secure computing environment. The program combines
theoretical and practical learning experiences in a team oriented
setting encompassing front line computer systems, back end
server environments and the local and wide-area network
infrastructure.
To get in this program you must get a 60% average in the
following courses; English: 3201 or 3202, Math: Advanced: 2200,
3200, Academic: 2201,3201)
