Abuse of Power

Being the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, the pope expressed
his gratitude to the organization and the functionaries that form part of it
for their daily work, enforcing the facilitation of a more effective
participation of all counties, principally the developing countries in the
global process, the achievement in a better balance between regional
and global dimensions of development and the linkages among the
organization normative, analytical and operational work.
The work of the United Nations consists as the development and
promotion of the rule of law, based on justice, the essential condition for
achieving the ideal of universal fraternity. Justice is a concept the pope
defines as no human or group can consider itself about, and as an
indispensable
requirement for
fraternal
organization takes care that the human rights are implemented, there
are sectors in which there arent respected at all. These sectors are
victims of the enormous act of abusing from power decreed by other
countries.
The most important point I considered that the pope discussed in his
speech, was the abuse of power. Abuse of power can be defined as the
act of using ones position of power in an abusive way. Countries,
institutions and people give a big importance to power that they dont
think or make conscience how and to whom it affects, there comes a
point they dont even realize they re using it in the wrong way
damaging others for their own benefit. But why do this happen? Why is
the attainment of power so important? Abuse of power is an act resulting
