PROBLEM STATEMENTS
1. Students were unable to name the objects in a
picture (They had very limited English Language
vocabulary ).
2. Students could not spell English words correctly.
(They might know how to pronounce but they
could not spell and write the words)

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
The research objectives are:
To study the effect of using pictures and collage on
students vocabulary .
To determine the effect of using pictures and
collage on students spelling ability.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS
What is the effect of using pictures and collage on
students vocabulary?
What is the effect of using pictures and collage on
students spelling ability?

4 out of 6 pupils having problems in reading Bahasa Melayu.

Wonderful collage helped students to learn and
improve their vocabulary.
It also helped students to spell English words
accurately.
