The following

procedures are
expectations the
students are
expected to
follow.

o Get items out of your book bag that you will need
for class today. Place items on your desk top.
o Turn in your homework to the baskets on the
wall for the Teacher Assistants to check.
o Put the date on your assignment notebook.
o Turn in any extras~ lunch money, notes, or forms

o Answer the Estimation Problem for the day.


o Once the morning bell has rung, ALL STUDENTS SHOULD
BE QUIETLY WORKING ON THEIR MORNING WORK.

1. Follow the directions for the station activity.


2.

Stay focused on the objective


of the lesson with your group.

3.

You should TALK to your group,


not YELL at your group.

4.

Work cooperatively with your


group members.

5.

When the timer says it is time


to clean up, begin cleaning,
DO NOT travel to the next station.

6.

WALK quietly to your next station


after the timer says to do so.

You may line up when you hear the transition song


and watch for Mrs. Robinson to dismiss your table.

Line Leaders need to always be in the front.

Choose your place in line carefully. Do NOT choose to


stand next to someone that you have the tendency to
talk to. There should be NO talking while lining up or
once in line. (Remember, you can be moved)

Keep you hands down at your side. DO NOT Flat Tire


someones shoes in front of you while WALKING.

WALK ALL the way out until you reach the


blacktop

2.

NO climbing UP or plugging the slides

3.

NO jumping off the swings and ABSOLUTELY no tackling.

4.

NO pulling, pushing, or grabbing each other

5.

DO NOT play with or throw the mulch

6.

When the whistle blows, STOP and


look at the teachers to see what they need.

7.

Line up QUICKLY and QUIETLY after the whistle blows.

1.

Transition time is the time that is used switch


from one event to another.

2.

During this time, subject related


music will be played to prompt
you to the next subject or event.

3.

Open your binder to the song


and sing along, but there should
be ABSOLUTELY no talking to
your neighbors.

4.

You are to have your desk ready


for the next event by the time
the song ends.

1.

There should be ABSOLUTELY NO TALKING as the assessment is


being distributed.

2.

Privacy Folders will be used to help prevent any cheating. If


cheating does occur, the student will receive a zero on the
assessment and their parents will be notified.

3.

Put your name on the assessment and then wait for Mrs. Robinsons
directions before beginning.

4.

After completing the assessment, check it one last time, turn it into
the appropriate basket on the wall, and place in your Privacy Folder
in the closet.

5.

You are accountable for your time after you complete the
assessment and be respectful of others that are still working.

1.

Students will line up outside the restrooms by gender.

2.

Restroom Monitors will indicate when students can come


into the restroom. Only 4 students at a time.

3.

Socializing and playing are NOT permitted.

4.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD wash their hands and dry them


with a paper towel after using the restroom.

5.

After you are done, you may get a drink and then return
to the line to wait for the rest of the class.

6.

Be respectful of other classrooms that are in session.

1.

Remain in your seat until your table has been dismissed.

2.

Check to be sure that ALL assignments are written down in


your assignment notebook before Mrs. Robinson gets to
you to sign it.

3.

Double check your folders to make sure


you are prepared with homework for each night.

4.

Check to be sure the inside of your desk is organized.

5.

DO NOT play with the wet desk tops after


your desk has been sanitized.

6.

After you have packed your backpack, go


back to your seat and wait patiently.

Students are expected to LISTEN


during classroom instruction time.

2.

Students are expected to PARTICIPATE


in classroom discussions.

3.

Students should NOT carry on


side-bar conversations during
classroom instruction time.

4.

Playing is NOT permitted while


the teacher is teaching or other
students are trying to learn.

5.

Student discussions should be


centered on the topic being taught.

All textbook are to


be facing with the
titles showing.

All workbooks~ math,


language, spelling,
reading, and
handwriting.

DO NOT place stickers on top or sides of desk, on


books, or other school property.
DO NOT pick at your name tag
