Mobile technology is inspiring the health industry all over the world today. In the article
Mobile Technology is Transforming the Health Industry, but to what extent? : discussed how
mobile apps are changing every aspect of the business. The various apps range from our fitness
plans, our wellness, and our healthcare. These apps let us track almost every approach. As if, it
could not get any better. Most of the healthcare applications our in the process or already sharing
data with one another. For example, the cloud. Health Data is exploding. As well as fitness apps.
They are becoming more and more popular. In 2011, roughly 44 million healthcare applications
where downloaded that year. By next year, 2016, experts predict to quadruple in downloads.
Furthermore, How Mobile Technology is Changing Healthcare is one of the additional
internet articles I came across. Which I discovered by using the search engine Yahoo. Improving
Health through Mobile Technology was the second article I researched. I found this editorial
through Google. I found that the article I encountered using Yahoo was much better, and easier to
find. It was the second article on the page. Moreover, the article went into much more depth and
detail than the one on I stumbled upon using Google.
The article How Mobile Technology is Changing Healthcare, was wrote on the 24 of
February 2015. By an author of the name A. Hasan. Honorably, I am not one hundred percent
confident that this article has been recently up to date. Nevertheless, I trust Hansan with this
piece because; he has a reference link at the bottom of the page and a significant amount of
evidence to back up the article. Additionally, Hansans passion is technology. Which he states in
the article. Therefore, I can stand by his side on this one. Subsequently, the focus of this article is
how mobile healthcare is transforming managing diabetes. However, Hansan still manages to
answer the question how is mobile technology transforming the world today? He informed me,

the reader, how much more sufficient it is to use mobile technology for people with diabetes. For
example, they can use a hand held device to take their blood sugar levels. Moreover, managing
meals and so on. This method of mobile technology saves time and money.
Mobile Health Applications for the Most Prevalent Conditions as well as, Emerging
information technologies for enhanced healthcare. I located these two journals by using specific
words. Such as mobile technology, transforming, and healthcare. I discovered theses precise
journals by using the CCBC database. Alternatively, known as ebsco. I used this database not
only because it is one of the most popular. However, because the librarians at Catonsville
persuaded me on how simple it is to use.
As a final point, the ease of accessibility between the journals and the internet articles
significantly unalike. The web article was stress-free to find. On the other hand, it was much
more difficult to locate a scholarly journal. I believe the journal unquestionably has the power of
knowledge over the internet articles. Not only did the journals go into more depth, but also I
discovered them on the librarys database. Both the internet articles and the journals were
published and, or updated in the past month. Even though the internet articles were slightly
fresher, they both in fact answered my question. Yes, mobile technology is indeed transforming
the healthcare industry.
