Woods Day time
Steven leads the group of survivors through the woods to where he hopes to
find shelter or a safe place to stay.

Linda
Well never find anywhere, were in the middle of the woods, and were all
going to die just like my family died
(Shouts) why dont you guys understand were all going to die

Peter
(Hisses)
Shut up Linda, if you keep shouting youll attract them all, shut up!

Linda
But theres nowhere out here thats safe for us, were all going to get eaten.

They soon reach a clearing where they rest

Steven
How much further can you go?
Jenny starts to cry
Jenny
I think its broken

Steven reassures the group

Steven
We will find a place, dont worry. I will make sure I get everyone in a safe
sheltered place.
You need to stay alert at all times, those things could be anywhere.

Peter (to Steven)

Jennys ankle is really bad; any chance we can stay here and make camp now?

Before he can answer Linda starts winging

Linda
Steve, Steven, Steve. Steve I need to stop, we all need to stop.

Steven talking to Linda

Steven (to Linda)
For gods sake shut up, well have every zombie in the county following us!

Steven gathers the group together.

Steven
This will do. You all have your jobs, and know what to do, so make camp. Im
going to check out the area.

Linda and Jenny flop to the floor

Linda
Let me re-bandage your ankle

Jenny
I think its broken, I cant walk any further. Im going to die here.

Linda
Shhh. Let me help you.

They stay where they are for the night.

Steven does recce/ back at camp- Linda bandaging Jenny.
The camp falls silent as they all eventually sleep and Steven slowly closes
his eyes.
Flashback
(Dream) Over the shoulder shot of Steven looking at his girlfriend in the
kitchen. She turns around and smiles at him, this is interrupted by a loud
terrifying scream.
Match cut
The scream in the flashback matches with a scream when Steven wakes up.
Steven wakes and the
being savagely eaten
jumps up to help him
grabs the zombie and

zombies are upon the group. Jennys dead and Linda is

by a zombie, Peter is fighting off a zombie and Steven
but hes too late and Peter has been bitten. Steven
kills him.

Steven turns his head to notice two zombies behind him ready for the chase.
Panic grips him and he runs.
