REFLECTION

Salutations,

My name is Julissa A. Munoz Berdiel and my occupation is full time

mom, full time Conv. English teacher and full time student in the Programa
AHORA. This is my 3 year of study in this magnificent program adapted to adult
life as well as real life expectations and scenarios. Through this program I have
the hope to achieve my life time goal of bettering myself through a much wanted
higher education. I have struggled through many years of obstacles and
oppression to finally walk this path in life with success. I know that I have the
strength, determination and dedication to complete this journey. My past
experiences have molded me onto the person I am today. A person willing to
charge forward and achieve the success I am meant to have in this life. Without
the past there is no present or future and I am looking forward to the future.
Math 120 has been a challenge for me personally. The last time I
received a proper math class was in 1992 in the 7th grade. It has been many years
and I admit I had thoughts of dropping this course because of the fear I would not
do well. Though the class was very challenging for me I stuck with it studied the
best I could and no matter the outcome grade wise, I know I gave it my best
effort. Many thanks to my very capable and knowledgeable professor Forty for
his patience and dedication. I have learned far more than I expected in this
course.
