Since its establisement, CONFIND has set as one of its key goals to bring into the Romanian industrial
scenery the newest trends in the complex universe of machinery manufacturing, installations and parts meant
to satisfy the requirements of a modern economy.
CONFIND has become in the last years the main Romanian manufacturer of drilling and production
tools and rubber goods for oil and gas industry.
The standing is based on the 90 years of experience in the Campina oilfield equipment manufacturing.
The experience in the designing and manufacturing of oilfield equipment has been transmitted through
generations to present. In the same time CONFIND is engaged to renew the fabrication and to rise the quality
level of its products.
Our manufacturing and testing procedures meet the highest requirements imposed by the international
standards. The existing facilities of laboratories and production flow, allow a prompt and accurate performing
of the follwing tests:
Chemical composition;
Hardness control;
Magnetic particles and penetrant fluid inspection;
Ultrasonic inspection;
Charpy V pendulum impact test under temperatures up to minus 60 Celsius;
Hydraulic tests;
Pneumatic tests.

The Quality Assurance System used by CONFIND is according to ISO 9001 and is certified by
AEROQ, an organization empowered to certify the quality management system.

ROLLER REAMER STABILIZERS

The roller stabilizers reamer are used to ream a hole or to stabilize the drill string in the borehole.
The reamer body has an upper threaded box and a bottom threaded pin. On the outside part of the body three roller devices
are assembled.
The rollers are installed so that they can be dismantled and replaced as required.
For borehole reaming operations, special rollers of various shape and hardness are used according to the type of formation
being drilled and reamed.

prevent the deflection of the borehole and to ream the drill hole.
According to their position in the drill collar string the integral blade stabilizers are used as
follow:

DRILL PIPE AND DRILL COLLAR

PREVENTER

This tip of preventer is assembled behind the rock bit into a special seat of the
pipe and ensures closure of the valve automaticaly when the normal fluid flow
direction is reversed.
This tipe of preventer is in fact a check valve.

DRILL PIPE SUBCOUPLINGS

The subcouplings are produced according to API Spec 7 as follows:
Subcouplings:
* Type A - having the outside diameter constant
* Type B - having two outside diameter
* Type C - having the outside diameter constant
Type of thread
* Pin - Pin
* Box - Box
* Pin - Box
The subcouplings type A and type B ensure the following tipe of connections:
* Kelly rod - connecting sleeve
* Sleeve - drill collar
* Drill collar - rock bit
The subcouplings type C ensure the connections between rotary swivel and kely.
If necesary, the thread can be worck hardened by cold rolling.
