From last meeting: The QIP has been updated. Staff will have a discussion on areas for improvement. VIT registration Photos were received at the end of term. Thank you to Photo Craft studios Health and Attendance: Attendance continues to fluctuate within Blue Group, with a number of children missing session due to general coughs and colds. We had a low of 14 children on the 16th of September. There has been a case of hand, and mouth reported by one of the families. Parents were notifies via a notice a foyer. Program: The Rain, Hayne and Shine Farm excursion was a great day enjoyed by all. Children enjoyed feeding the calf, milking the cow, patting the cats, and riding on the tractor. We had 16 Blue Group children attend, with an additional 4 siblings. Thank you to the committee for approving this wonderful learning experience. Following the Rain, Hayne and Shine Farm excursion, children have been enjoying continuing their learning of different animals. Children have created a Blue Group cardboard cow and we have had had a dramatic farm area for children to explore their newly learnt knowledge. Emma has started book in a bag to encourage literacy development, while bridging the gap between home and school learning. This will be continued into next term. Emma will be finishing placement in the first week of term 4. Staff activities and visitors: 16/09- Steph and Emma met with Miss Lucas and Miss Hustwaite from Bittern Primary School re: Transition Days UPCOMING DATES: Wednesday 28/10- Childrens day 11/11 and 12/11-Visit to Bittern Primary School 18/11 and 19/11- Students from Bittern Primary visiting Kinder 25/11 and 26/11- Visit to Bittern Primary School 2/12 and 3/12- Students from Bittern Primary visiting Kinder 8/12- State wide orientation day
