RANKING SCALES

In ranking scales the participant directly compares two or more objects and make choices among them

SORTING
Q-sorts require sorting of a deck of cards into piles that represent points along a continuum. The participants or the judge groups the cards based on his or her response to the concept written on the card.

CUMULATIVE SCALES
‡ Given a persons total score, it is possible to estimate which items were answered positively and negatively.
