Review the days of the week and months of the year.
Students will be taught how to ask what the date is. They will also
be told how to respond to this question using the numbers they
learned in the previous lesson.
Cul es la fecha de hoy? = ____________________________
Formula to say the date: Hoy es (day of the week), el (date) de
(month). = Today is (day of the week), (Month + date).
Example: Wednesday, September 16

One exception: The only thing you need to remember about
FECHAS is number uno thinks theyre the bomb. Uno = primero
On the first of the month use the word primero- instead of uno.

The final part of this lesson will discuss birthdays. Student will
be taught how to ask someone what his or her birthday is. They
will also learn how to respond to this question.

Practice (12 minutes):
Students will be given a slip with a different date on it. First,
students must write the date in English. Then, students will be
given one minute to write out the date in Spanish and will then
pass the slip to the person to their left.
