Planning a trip

You will plan a dream vacation for 2 people.


Guidelines:
-Depart: January 2016
-Length: 14-16 days
-Visiting beyond the capital of a country or
an all-inclusive resort.
-Cannot pick your native country or Quebec.
-Budget 12,000$ for 2 people:
6,000$ per person.
-Teams of 4

Schedul
e -Class 1: Today Explain Guidelines
-Create your team, decide the country(ies) and who is doing what.
-Class 2: Computer Room.
-Complete at least 2 research items.
-Start writing brochure. (C2)
-Class 3: Computer Room.
-Complete the last items of research.
-Finish last parts of the brochure. (C2)
-Class 4: Kiosk Preparation
-Start creating the poster with your team.
-C1 group evaluations
-Class 5: Kiosk Preparation
-Finish all the sections and practice for the kiosk oral presentation
-C1 group evaluations
-Class 6-7: Kiosk Presentation (Oral presentation rotation) (C3)

C1 evaluation (Interacting in English)


-*Always speak in English throughout each class.
-15 minute discussion in groups of 4 evaluated by the teacher.

C2 evaluation (reinvest understanding of texts)


Brochure of the trip
-The Brochure of the trip will be due the day of the presentation.
-You will be responsible for writing your section in the brochure.
C3 evaluation (Writes and produces text)
-You will present your work to groups in a kiosk using posters.
