ARMASCIextendsawishesforaveryHappy
DussheratoalltheStaffandstudentsatASCI.The
daystartedofwiththeinformationthatclasses
wouldbeonenvironmentandHospital
management.Forsomeinexplicablereason,today,
mostofuswerelateforclass,Ihadofcoursetogo
foradentalcheckupwhichwasquiteinevitable.
WhenIenteredtheclasstherewasananimated
discussiononaboutimprovingtheproductivityof
agriculture.Varioustheoreticalmethodswere
discussed.Andthefinalconclusionwasthatthe
governmentapathywasthemainculpritinthe
improvementoffoodproductivity.Alsodiscussed
weretheTigerPopulation,globalwarming,water
scarcity,deforestationandcarbonfootprint.SinceI
hadmissedthebeginningoftheclassthenameof
ourinstructorwasmissedforwhichIamdeeply
sorry.Sufficeittosaythatourinteractionwas
fruitfulandtheProfessorwasanexpertinhisfield.Hedealtallourquestionsandquerieswith
aplombandeaseofamanwhoknewhissubjectwell.Ourteawasgreetedwiththespectacleof
thepigeonsroostingonthesolarpanel.Itunderlinedthefactthatbirdsareadaptableandlackof
treesmadethemusethesolarpanelastheirnest.
PeopleinASCIarestillrecoveringfromthe
hangoverofalongbreak.Lunchwasgoodbutthe
numberofpeopleinthedininghallwasveryless.
Weweremoreorlessresignedtoanotherextended
classonHealthManagementafterlunch.Whatwe
werenotpreparedforwasanextendedbut
interestingclassonHealthAdministration.Dr
Balbir'sfatherservedintheairforce.This
straightawayhelpedusestablisharapportwithhim.
HeisfromBhopalandhasaninsatiableappetitefor
acquiringknowledgewithregardtohissubject.So
muchsothatheholdsmorethan24Certificates
anddiplomas,bothnationalandinternational.What
ishearteningisthatheisalsoafirmbelieverin
puttingintopracticehisteachingsandhasbeen,at
variousstagesassociatedwithvariousState
GovernmentsandUNICEFetc.
Butlikeallinstructorswhocometoourclass,one
couldpicturehimtakeadeepbreathbeforethe
DrBalbir
entering.Thisiswheretheclassdifferedfromall
otherclasseswehavehadtilldate.AlongwithDrBalbironeotherpersonenteredtheclass.This
bespectacledpersonwasColZakirHussain.AtsomepointintimeColHussainwasthestudent
ofDrBalbirandtheyhaddevelopedanenduringfriendship.

others'sentences.Viewsandcounterviewswere
expressedandfinallytheconclusionreachedtoby
boththepeopleeducatinguswasthesame.
Practicalexperienceandtheoreticalcoursestobe
donebyusforstandingabetterchanceofgettinga
jobinthehospitalindustryweretoldtousbyboth
theinstructorsoftheday.NaturallyDrBalbir

Itisnosecretthathealthhasbeenindustrializedbutneverearlierwasthereclarityonissues
such as its humungousness, not being confined to just a treatment of an ailment, and what
