Physical Education

Language Focus

In Physical Education this unit students will examine


striking skills. They will be involved in a variety of skill
instruction, activities and games that develop hand and
arm striking skills. Students will be exposed to a range
of sports that utilize striking skills such as badminton,
tennis, cricket and hockey.

Vietnamese Language & Culture


Language focus: TIMES AND ACTION VERBS
Year 4 will continue their next VLC topics with Times and Action verbs. During VLC lessons, the students will
learn how to count to 60, ask and tell the times in Vietnamese. They will also learn 14 useful actions verbs and
apply their newly learnt vocabulary to describe what someone is doing in Vietnamese.
Culture focus: VIETNAMESE TEACHERS DAY
Vietnamese Teachers Day, focus on common activities and wishes.
Vietnamese National Curriculum
In unit 2, year 4 VNC will be continued on the 3 topics: The community, the countryside, the North, Middle and
South. Through these students will have chances to learn new vocabulary, new grammatical points, how to write a
longer paragraph as well as review the phonic.
