The Fall of a Great Empire

All the soldiers around me (Alaric the 1st) are falling, the archers a shooting,
the Roman defenses are getting stronger! We need to fall back and find another
place to attack! I exclaimed.
It was 476 C.E, Rome 1:00 am.We found a safe place to hide before we tried
to attack again after we almost got defeated. Then we had to set up our artillery to
take down Romes defenses. We tried to flank the other side and we caught them
by surprise. We started attacking them at the walls and we took out the defenses.
After we took down the defenses we got the bridge to come down.
We got into the city of Rome. We then had to take down the guards standing
against us. It was a very tough fight, I barely got through it as a Roman guard
almost stabbed me in the chest and then I blocked his strike with my shield. I kept
rushing and screaming at my soldiers saying Push! But while we were attacking,
a lot of my soldiers were dying.
My army and I then went into all of the south Roman citizens houses, and
robbed all of their valuables from them. A lot of the houses didnt have any
valuables and some of them only had a little amount of valuables. I screamed, To
the West!
We then went to the west side of the city of Rome. It seemed like the guards
on the west side of Rome were stronger than the south side of Rome. When we got
there, the homes were much larger and much nicer. When we got into the homes,
they had so many valuables we needed more than one person to take all of the loot
from their homes!
In the middle of the city was where the main shops, restaurants, and
bakeries. Take all of the food and cloth! I demanded. We took all of the food and
supplies from the shops. All of the food and cloth we got from the shops were
much better than ours. We were cheering when we stole all of the supplies because
wed never gotten any items of value this great before.
We then had to go to the east of the Roman city. Where we already knew
that they were the wealthiest people in Rome, besides the emperor of course. The

only thing that we were scared of was that the gGeneral of the Army lived over
there so we knew it would be a tough fight.
When we got to the east side of the city, the soldiers were ready to fight us.
While we were battling, it took us about five hours to get through the defenses. The
Rroman general and I had to duel each other before our armies fought. I had won
the duel because I killed him with the sword that betrayed him. To the museum! I
shouted.
We then got to the museum, we got all of the priceless Roman artifacts. Then
we got to the Roman citizens homes, and they were much too wealthy. After, we
got to the Generals monstrous home at the north part of east Rome. I had five
other men with me to take all of the artifacts. The general had plans to try and wipe
us out!
After, we got out of the house and we took out all of the Roman
reinforcements. Later, we got to the emperors palace and it was the most beautiful
sight ever. There was about half of the whole Roman army protecting the emperor.
We easily got through them and we got to the emperor. The emperor pleaded
Mercy! as I executed him. That is how I took over Rome.
