Understand how to use online presentation tools to demonstrate understanding of
the Pythagorean Theorem.
Day One
Warm-up
Students will enter the room and I will explain that we will be integrating technology this
week to help us learn about the Pythagorean Theorem and explain the essential questions,
goals, and criteria for this assignment.
Whole-Group
Show students a Brainpop video to introduce the topic of Pythagorean Theorem.
Demonstrate to students how to access my curated resources on my teacher website

Work Session
Students will each sign out a laptop and access the curated resources on Scoop.it via my
teacher web page.
Students are required to visit and view a minimum of 4 resources from this list to assist
them in learning about the Pythagorean Theorem.
Ticket out the Door
What is the formula for the Pythagorean Theorem?
Return Laptop
Day Two
Warm-up
I will ask the students what the Pythagorean Theorem is and have them help me solve 2
problems on the board as a class.
Whole-Group
Show students the Brainpop video again to re-introduce the topic of Pythagorean
Theorem.
Remind students how to access my curated resources on my teacher website
