Dear Sheriff,
‘My dear friend Jennifer McCormack suffered a massive heart attack while in your detention center and I do
not think she and her unbom child were recelving proper care, Her doctors said she had extremely low
electrolytes and that could have caused her heart altack. She was arrested and ripped away from a treatment
center she had waited to get into where she was receiving good care only to be placed in your jail and die
several days later, | want to know how and why this happened, She was breaking the law and | understand that
but she was more than just some addict, She was a wonderful human being with lots of people who loved her.
‘She had been dealing with so many health issues and had been in so much pain for so tong and | believe that's
‘what led her down this path. She deserved a second chance in rehab to get clean and that was robbed from her
and she lost her and her childs life because of it. | want to know what you're doing to ensute this wont happen to
another in your jail
Sincerely,
Sarah Sellers.
