01D/ The NT Father Definition and Jesus

Last updated 10/28/13 this study is 27 pages long

Introduction
This study shows that the Greek word pater is the equivalent of the Hebrew word Ab, it has the same meaning and
definition.
God is the Father and creator of every human being that has ever existed with this core definition.
This definition was established in 01C The OT Father study and is confirmed here in the New Testament.
Father:

He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

Masculine: of a gender that refers chiefly (but not exclusively) to males or to objects classified as male
Parent: a mother or father, a progenitor or ancestor, anything from which other things are derived, source, origin
Ancestor:
A parent or the parent of an ancestor. Somebody from whom a person is descended.
Giver of life: A human father is a giver of life when he gives his sperm to be fertilized with the female egg?
The process would not work without the fathers sperm unless God created another process
Originator: Someone who creates new things, causes a specified beginning, create or initiate, instigator. The one
from which something comes.
Creator:
cause to exist, bring into being, to result in something, to make something happen. To produce or
bring about by a course of action or behavior
We will confirm that as well as the OT meanings (Parts 1A-4E) which include showing God as the literal Father and
creator of all human beings, he is also the Father and creator regarding genealogy of his first Son Jesus Christ who was
given life and lived in spiritual form before the creation of the universe and all that is in it. (Parts 5 onwards)
God has been the Father since before creation, however there was a point or a once, before Jesus the firstborn, when
God was not the Father.
In order for there to be a son, there always has to be a father first. Jehovah God always was, however there was a point
when he became a Father, this is the same point that Jesus was born and became the son. The son had a beginning, there
was a once when Jesus was not.
The name Father existed for God as the Father of Jesus before Adam was given the name father in Genesis 5:3, therefore
the original definition was one that applied to God first.
For those who believe Jesus to be God, it is important that you have read my OT Father analysis and then read all the
parts of this section 1A-4E that form the foundation of the NT father, before the analysis of Jesus. If you agree with the
OT analysis and agree with the NT parts 1A-4C you will be able to understand fully the progression and then consider
my opinions on Jesus.

father, a male parent or ancestor; by extension: an honorific title, leader, archetype; parents, ancestors (of both genders):
Strongs Abba G5: Abba = "father"
1) father, customary title used of God in prayer. Whenever it occurs in the New Testament it has the Greek interpretation
joined to it, that is apparently to be explained by the fact that the Chaldee "ABBA" through frequent use in prayer,
gradually acquired the nature of a most sacred proper name, to which the Greek speaking Jews added the name from
their own tongue.

This information is here to help identify the difference between what the bible defines as the term "father" and what it
has developed into in the modern English language.

Part 1A Human Father of an Individual

Parts 1A-D are in place to show the basic meaning of the word father, Greek Pater. Our closest immediate masculine
parent is our father, we might refer to them as our biological father. Here are some examples and the Greek words that
are used to describe fathering a child.
HCSB.Mathew 1:2 Abraham fathered (G1080/gennao) Isaac, Isaac fathered (G1080/gennao) Jacob, Jacob
fathered (G1080/gennao) Judah and his brothers,
G1080 gennao: 1) of men who fathered children
As seen in the definitions the word for father is G3962/Pater, therefore the translations that say "Abraham was the father
of Isaac" etc are not technically correct. Because the Greek word G1080/Genao is used, the sentence should always be
written in a similar way to the HCSB shown here.
Abraham fathered G1080/Genao Isaac, Abraham becomes Isaacs immediate and closest biological father regarding
genealogy.
The nearest male descendant of Abraham is Isaac whose nearest male ancestor is Abraham.
Acts 7:29 At this retort Moses fled and became an exile in the land of Midian, where he became the father
of (G1080/Genao) two sons.
G1080/Genao is translated "he became the father of"
Mathew 4:21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother
They were in a boat with their father (G3962/Pater) Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,
G3962/Pater
The two sons were with their father. Johns nearest male ancestor was Zebedee his father
Luke 1:57-60 When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son.
58
Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.
59
On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they were going to name him after his father
(G3962/Pater) Zechariah,
60
but his mother spoke up and said, "No! He is to be called John
Zechariah the husband of Elizabeth is referred to as father/Pater of the baby John

John.

Summary:
Mathew 1:2
Acts 7:29
Mathew 4:21
Luke 1:57-60

Abraham fathered (G1080/gennao) Isaac,

G1080/Genao is translated "he became the father of"
Johns nearest male ancestor was Zebedee his father (G3962/Pater)
Zechariah the husband of Elizabeth is referred to as father/Pater of the baby John

G1080 gennao: became the father of, his son, of men who fathered children
A father, H3962/Pater, is the immediate and closest biological male parent regarding genealogy
The father G1080/Genao became the father of, his son.
Several of the words for the definition stated at the beginning are found here. A father is always a he, him and masculine
this will be the case in all parts of this study and always the case each time the term "father" is used. Here we
specifically identify the word "parent" which we understand to be the closest biological parent. Also the father is
identified as "a giver of life." Both the definitions of "parent" and "giver of life" will continue throughout this study. The
Greek words H3962/Pater and G1080/Genao are used on numerous occasions throughout.
Father:

He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

Part 1B Human Father as an Ancestor, Grandfather, Forefathers of a Person

It is interesting to know that the term "father," Greek G3962/Pater, is not reserved only for the immediate biological
father, according to the bible. Pater is also given to grandfather, great grandfather and so on all the way to Adam and
God. The same as it was in the Old Testament.
Again all of the definition regarding genealogy of a father is fulfilled in here.
Luke 3:35-36 the son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah,
36
the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem,
1 Chronicles 1:18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah the father of Eber.
If we compare Luke which says Arphaxad the father of Cainan the father of Shelah
1 Chronicles says Arphaxad the father of Shelah
There are two options A/ The bible has made a mistake B/ A grandfather is also a father
As will become clear, a grandfather is considered a father.
Mathew 23:30-32 saying, If we had lived in the days of our fathers (G3962 Pater) , we would not have taken
part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.
31 Thus you witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.
32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. (G3962 Pater)
Vs30 Jesus talking to the teachers and Pharisees in Jerusalem confirming their ancestors are their fathers
Vs32 Fathers is again from the Greek word G3962 Pater.
Luke 16:24 So he called to him, 'Father (G3962 Pater) Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip
the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
A distant ancestral father is called by his name to distinguish him from another father
(This could also be a term of respect towards Abraham)
Acts 7:32 'I am the God of your fathers (G3962 Pater), the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.' Moses
trembled with fear and did not dare to look.
God tells Moses that he has several fathers including Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Hebrews 3:9 where your fathers (G3962 Pater) tested and tried me and for forty years saw what I did.
The writer is quoting the OT and God through the HS tells the people that their fathers tested him
These verses all refer to fathers on a man's side of the family
Summary:
Luke 3 and 1 Chron 1 Show that a grandfather is considered a father.
Mat 23:30-32 Jesus talking to the teachers and Pharisees in Jerusalem confirming their ancestors are their fathers
Luke 16:24 A distant ancestral father is called by his name to distinguish him from another father
Acts 7:32
God tells Moses that he has several fathers including Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Heb 3:9
The writer is quoting the OT and God through the HS tells the people that their fathers tested him
Our grandfather, great grandfather and any direct male ancestor are biblically also our fathers, or G3962/Pater, regarding
genealogy.
Here we have added the word "ancestor" to the core definition of the word "father."
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

Part 1C Human father as a head of founder of a household, group, family or clan

John 4:12 Are you greater than our father (G3962/Pater) Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself,
as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?"
The woman understood Abraham to be her father regarding genealogy,
The woman asks Jesus if he is greater than our father Jacob, which implies either
1/ She was including other people unknown to us, without including Jesus or
2/ She included Jesus when she said our which indicates
Jesus has a human ancestor in Abraham
That Jacob was the father (G3962/Pater) of the people of the area.
Mark 11:9 And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, Hosanna! Blessed is he who
comes in the name of the Lord!
10 "Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father (G3962/Pater) David!" "Hosanna in the highest!"
Our father David referring to David being the father of the peoples kingdom or large group
Luke 1:67 His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:
71 salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us
72 to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant,
73 the oath he swore to our father (G3962/Pater) Abraham
Zechariah the father to be of John the Baptist, prophecies regarding the redemption of Gods people and calls Abraham
our father referring to more than just himself
Romans 4:16-17 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed
to all Abraham's offspringnot only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of
Abraham. He is the father (G3962/Pater) of us all.
17
As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father (G3962/Pater) in the sight
of God, in whom he believedthe God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they
were.

Vs16 Pauls letter to the Romans says that Abraham is the father of us all, or many nations. Paul was saying that
Abraham was the father of all the people as a group as he could not have known that Abraham was a father regarding
genealogy to all he was writing to.
Vs17 Abraham is the father G3962/Pater of many nations
Summary:
John 4:12
Mark 11:9
Luke 1:67
Rom 4:16-17

Jacob was the father (G3962/Pater) of the people of the area.

Our father David referring to David being the father of the peoples kingdom or large group
Zechariah calls Abraham our father referring to more than just himself
Abraham is the father G3962/Pater of many nations

Once a first son was born to a father and a group had begun, then that father was the father regarding genealogy of that
group as he had caused it to have life. People who joined the group may not have been biological sons or daughters
meaning that he wasnt their biological father, however he was the father of the group as its originator and creator.
Here we have added the word "originator" to the core definition of the word "father."
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

Part 1D Father Son Mother Daughter in law

Father in law
John 18:13 and brought him first to Anna's, who was the father-in-law G3995 of Caiaphas, the high priest
that year.
G3995 Pentheros
Mother in law
Mathew 10:35 For I have come to turn " 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a
daughter-in-law G3565 nymphe against her mother-in-law G3994 Penthera
Daughter in law
Luke 12:53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and
daughter against mother, mother-in-law G3994 against daughter-in-law G3565 and daughter-in-law G3565
against mother-in-law G3994."
Summary:
Father in law G3995 pentheros: Word count 1: 1) father-in-law, a wife's father
Mother in law G3994 penthera: Word count 6: Three times refer to Peters mother in law and three times shown here.
Daughter in law G3565 nymphe: Word count 8: Four times in Revelation, John 3:29 and twice shown here
A father in law is shown in John 18:13 to be a G3995, this is not enough evidence to discount the possibility of a father
in law also being a G3962 Pater
Perhaps a G3994 is the immediate father in law only but can also be as G3962
We see in Part 6A that Marys fathers are Jesus father, therefore being called a G3995 from Marys viewpoint does not
take away the fact that they were also fathers from Jesus' viewpoint

P2A God Creates the First Humans Adam and Eve

Parts 2A-C are in place to show that God is the creator of all human beings, that he directly participates in the creation
of every single one of us. As in the OT study, the progression will then follow showing that the term "Father" for God
includes creator.
Mark 10:6 But at the beginning of creation God 'made (G4160 poieo made) them male and female.'
G4160/Poieo: Made
God created the first man and woman at the beginning of humanity, God made G4160/Poieo Adam and Eve

1 Corinthians 11:8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man;
9
neither was man created (G2936 ktizo create) for woman, but woman for man.
G2936/Ktizo: Create, creator, make, to fabricate
Woman was created, G2936/Ktizo, for man.
There were no women when Adam and Eve were created, nor did there need to be. The woman was created to, among
other things, be a vessel for human creation (birth)
1 Corinthians 11:12 For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes
from God.
Everything comes from God. We as people, are included in everything!
1 Corinthians 15:44-45 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body,
there is also a spiritual body.
45
So it is written: "The first man Adam became (G1096/Ginomai) a living being soul"; the last Adam, a lifegiving spirit.
G1096/Ginomai: To cause to be, generate,
Adam became (G1096/Ginomai) a living being, came into existence. God created Adam
1 Timothy 2:13-14
13
For Adam was formed (G4111) first, then Eve.
14
And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
G4111/Plasso: To mould, shape, fabricate, form
Adam and Eve were both formed G4111/Plasso by God
Summary:
Mark 10:6
God made G4160/Poieo Adam and Eve
1 Cor 11:8
Woman was created, G2936/Ktizo, for man.
1 Cor 11:12 Everything comes from God. We as people, are included in everything!
1 Cor 15:44 Adam became (G1096/Ginomai) a living being, came into existence. God created Adam
1 Tim 2:13-14 Adam and Eve were both formed (G4111/Plasso) by God
God G4160/Poieo made, G2936/Ktizo created, G1096/Ginomai gave being, G4111/Plasso formed, Adam and Eve
These words show that God is a creator of Adam and Eve, although creator is not yet tied to the word Father for God.

Part 2B God creates, makes and gives life to each and every individual human being
In the same way that God created Adam by the words G1096/Ginomai, G2936/Ktizo, G4111/Plasso, G4160/Poieo
we will now see that he does the same when he brings the rest of the human race into existence.
There are numerous passages with a host of different Greek words that describe how God creates all people, this
parallels the OT descriptions of the same events. I have underlined the four that are shown for Adam and eve.
G837 Aauxano: cause to grow
G1096 Ginomai: to come into existence, receive being
G2227 Zoopoieo: To produce alive, casue to live
G2936 Ktizo: create form or shape
G2939 Ktistes: founder, creator
G3956 Pas: individually, each, every, all things
G4110 Plasma: Moulded or formed
G4111 Plasso: To form it
G4160 Poieo: Do, to make, commit, cause etc (long description)

Romans 9:20-21 But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed (G4110/Plasma) say
to him who formed (G4111/plasso) it, 'Why did you make (G416/poieo) me like this?' "
21
Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes
and some for common use
G4110 Plasma: moulded or formed
G4111 plasso: to form
G4160 poieo: made
This verse is addressing man in general and so applies to any and every human being
Man who is formed should not say to God who formed him, why did you make me like this
God did the forming, man is formed by God.
This is very specifically saying that God formed the person this verse refers to and everyone else
Vs21 God, the potter, has the right to form people as he likes
Colossians 3:9-10 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have
put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator (G2936/Ktizo).
G2936 Ktizo: create form or shape
A human being is renewed in ways by his creator. God is our creator G2936/Ktizo.
1 Timothy 6:13 In the sight of God, who gives life (G2227/Zoopoieo) to everything (G3956 Pas), and of
Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you
G2227 zoopoieo: to produce alive, cause to live
G3956 Pas: 1) individually a) each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything
2) collectively a) some of all types
God who gives life (G2227/Zoopoieo) to each and every individual
1 Peter 4:19 So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful
Creator (G2939/ktistes) and continue to do good.
G2939 ktistes: founder, creator
We suffer and commit ourselves to our creator (G2939/Ksistes)God
Summary:
Romans 9:20
Col 3:9
1 Tim 6:13
1 Pet 4:19

God G4110 Plasma: moulded or formed, G4111/plasso: to form, G4160/poieo: made people.
God is our creator (G2936/Ktizo.)
God who gives life (G2227/Zoopoieo) to each and every individual
We suffer and commit ourselves to our creator (G2939/Ksistes)God

God G4160/poieo made, and G2936/ktizo created, and G4111/plasso formed all human beings as he did Adam and Eve
in P2A using the same words. Along with G2227/zoopoieo: to produce alive, cause to live, G2939/ktistes: founder,
creator.
These Greek (or English translations) words have the same meaning as the Hebrew words used to describe how God
creates each human being in the OT in 01C Part 2B.
The evidence is so overwhelming that this Part proves beyond question that God is the creator of each and every human
being that ever existed. The terms listed form the definition of the term "creator." Later this study will show that when
God is called "Father," the basic meaning is that He is being referred to as our creator.

Part 2B2 God creates, makes and gives life to each and every human being (general Passages)

Acts 14:15 "Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good
news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made (G4160 poieo made) heaven and
earth and sea and everything in them.
God made heaven earth and sea and everything in them, which includes all human beings
Acts 17:24 "The God who made (G4160 poieo: made) the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven
and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.
God (G4160 poieo: made) made everything in the world which again includes all people

Acts 17:25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life
and breath and everything else.
God gives all men life
1 Corinthians 3:5-7 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you
came to
believeas the Lord has assigned to each his task.
6
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow G837.
7
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow (G837/auxano:
cause to grow).
While this verse is referring to the message of the gospel of Christ, vs. 7 also refers to the fact that without God nothing
would grow, which includes each individual human being.
Ephesians 3:9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept
hidden in God, who created all things (G2936 ktizo: create form or shape).
God created (G2936/Ktizo) all things, what does this include? Does it include all the people that ever lived
Revelation 4:9-11 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the
throne
and who lives forever and ever,
10
the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever
and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
11
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created (G2936/ktizo
create) all things, and by your will they were created (G2936/ktizo create) and have their being."
Vs9 Is referring to living creatures who give glory, honor and thanks to God, namely people
Vs11 God created all things including angels, demons, spirits, along with all creation and people
All things were created by Gods will! God willed it and it happened. Jesus had a different will!
Revelation 10:5-6 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.
6
And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created (G2936/ktizo) the heavens and all that is in
them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay!
God who created the earth and all that is in it

God created all things including angels, demons, spirits, along with all creation and people

Rev 10:5

God who created the earth and all that is in it

God G4160/poieo made, G837/auxano caused to grow, G2936/ktizo created, everything that is on or in the earth, if he
created everything then that includes 6 billion people currently living

P2C God creates people through mothers

There are no NT passages that I am aware of to add to this Part. There are several passages in the OT study

Part 3A God: The Father and Creator of all Human Beings

We saw in P2A God G4160/Poieo made, G2936/Ktizo created, G1096/Ginomai gave being, G4111/Plasso formed,
Adam and Eve
We saw in P2B that God G4160/poieo made, and G2936/ktizo created, and G4111/plasso formed all human beings as he
did Adam and Eve in P2A using the same words. Along with G2227/zoopoieo: to produce alive, cause to live,
G2939/ktistes: founder, creator.
Now we see that when we refer to God as Father it includes being a creator. This is an extremely critical part of this
study because it means when God is called a Father He is always being called a creator.
The same words that help define the word creator also help define the word father:
God the Father G2936/Ktizo created, and G1096/Ginomai made us
Here we join the word creator for God, to the word Father for God. They are in conjunction.
Mathew 5:45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the
good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous
Father in heaven as opposed to our other father/s on earth
Our Father causes the rain to come. Our Father causes the sun to rise and set, he is the creator
Mark 13:19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created
(G2936
ktizo create) the world, until nowand never to be equaled again.
13:32 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father
Vs19 God created the world
Vs32 The only one who knows the end of times is the Father, the creator, God.
Romans 1:7 To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our
Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualitieshis eternal power and divine naturehave
been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
Vs7 This letter is from God who is our Father, and also from Jesus Christ
Vs20 Our Father, God, created the world and has invisible qualities
James 3:9 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made
(G1096/Ginomai) in God's likeness.
G1096 Ginomai to become, be made
Men are made in Gods likeness, in our Fathers likeness, each man is made in Gods likeness.
Men are made (G1096/Ginomai) just as Adam and Eve were in P2A
Men are made by God the Father
Summary:
Mathew 5:45 Our Father, God, causes the rain to come. Our father, God, causes the sun to rise and set,
Mark 13:19 when God created (G2936 ktizo create) the world

Romans 1:7
James 3:9

Our Father, God, created the world

Men are made (G1096/Ginomai) by our Father God, just as Adam and Eve were in P2A

God the Father G2936/Ktizo created, and G1096/Ginomai made us

God is the Father and creator of all human beings
Here we have added the word "creator" to the core definition of the word "father."
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
All parts of the definition have now been clearly identified.

Part 3B God the Father of Individual Human beings

All parts of my definition of the word father are again fulfilled here.
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect
Jesus says
your heavenly Father
Matt 5:48 & 6:14 & 6:26 & 6:32
Jesus says
your Father in heaven
Matt 5:16, 45, 6:1, 7:11, 18:14 Mark 11:25, Luke 11:13
Jesus says
your Father
referring to God our Father twenty four times
Each time Jesus is confirming that God is the Father of each human being on the planet regarding genealogy with the
definition stated.
Mathew 10:19-20 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time
you will be given what to say,
20
for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Jesus speaking to the twelve disciples
God who is our Father is spirit. The Father of our spirit is also spirit.
When we are filled with our Fathers spirit he helps us to speak in the way he would like.
Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your
Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
Jesus talking to Peter near a fig tree says forgive others so that Peters Father, God, will forgive his sins. Jesus
specifically tells Peter that his Father is in heaven
Luke 11:1-2 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him,
"Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
2
He said to them, "When you pray, say: " 'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
Vs1 Jesus is with an unknown amount of his disciples, however I would assume that this is written to all disciples who
are of any nation.
Vs2 Jesus tells us to call God, Father.
Hebrews 12:9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it.
How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!
Our human father is our immediate and closest male ancestor, our physical mothers husband.
God is Father to our spirits, not just a Father to our physical bodies which he also created
Summary:
Mathew 5:48 Jesus is confirming that God is the Father of each human being on the planet regarding genealogy
Mathew 10:20 God who is our Father is spirit. The Father of our spirit is also spirit.
Mark 11:25 Jesus specifically tells Peter that his Father is in heaven

Luke 11:2
Jesus tells us to call God, Father.
Hebrews 12:9 God is Father to our spirits, not just a Father to our physical bodies which he also created
The NT explains that God is our heavenly Father and the Father of our spirits.
It is of extreme importance that it is Jesus telling people that God is their Father because later in Part 5A Jesus says "my
Father and your Father" to show that Jesus and people share the same Father and with the same definition which is
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Here is a comparison chart of words used for God the creator compared to words used for God the Father, also a creator.
It identifies the fact that when God is called by the name "Father" we are saying that he created us using the words
shown. In the OT Father study Part 3B, there is a similar chart using the Hebrew words.
God as the Creator of all People

God as the Father of each and every person

G1096/Ginomai gave being,

G2227/zoopoieo: to produce alive, cause to live,
G2936/Ktizo created,
G2939/ktistes: founder, creator.
G4111/Plasso formed
G4160/Poieo made,

G1096/Ginomai made us
G2936/Ktizo created

God the Father gave all people their births. He is, according to both the NT and the OT definition, the Father of every
human being ever fathered or created with the following definition.
Father: He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Just as in the OT this is one of the most critical parts of this study. What has been identified is the core definition of the
term "father" in the bible. When God is referred to as a "Father" he is always being referred to as He, him, masculine:
parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator. Not sometimes but always.
When anyone in the bible calls God by the term "Father" they are saying that God created them.

Part 3C God as Father of his People

Mathew 5: 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise
your Father in heaven
44-45 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your
Father in heaven.
48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
In the beatitudes in chapter 5 Jesus calls God vs16 your Father in heaven, vs45 your Father in heaven, vs48 your
heavenly Father,
Here Jesus is talking to the crowds on the mountainside and says that God is our heavenly Father to distinguish him
from our earthly father or fathers
Chapter 6:1 your Father in heaven, vs4 your Father, vs6 your Father twice, vs8 your Father, vs9 our Father in heaven
(lords prayer) vs14 your heavenly Father, vs15 your Father, vs18 your Father twice, vs26 your heavenly Father, vs32
your heavenly Father
Chapter 7:11 your Father in heaven, vs21 my Father in heaven

Jesus is clear in delivering his message that God is the Father of all these people. We have seen from the OT that God is
our Father regarding genealogy, if it were not regarding genealogy in the NT why would he keep repeating the same
thing? Your father
Acts 17:26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he
determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
17:29 Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or
stonean image made by man's design and skill.

silver or

Vs26 God made every nation of men.

How does he determine the times set for them without being personally involved in each birth?
Vs27 We are Gods offspring (G1085 Genos) if we are his offspring then he is our Father!
Ephesians 3:14-15 For this reason I kneel before the Father,
15
from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
Vs14 Paul kneels before the Father
Vs15 Gods whole family in heaven
Vs15 Gods whole family on the earth
Summary:
Mathew 5:16 Jesus calls God "your Father in heaven" and "your heavenly Father"
Math 6 Jesus calls God, "your Father in heaven," "your Father," "our Father," "your heavenly Father" many times
Math 7:11
Your Father in heaven
Mathew 7:21 my Father in heaven
Acts 17:26
God made every nation of men
Acts 17:29
We are God's offspring
Eph 3:14
The Father has his family on earth
God is the father of nations.

Part 4A Adam is the son of God regarding genealogy

We have already seen that every human being on the planet has God as a Father regarding genealogy, now we have to
ask is Adam an exception?
Luke 3:38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
Adam was the son of God and yet John 3:16 says Jesus is Gods only Son. The difference is that Jesus is referred to as a
monogenes son, or begotten son. (Jesus was spirit first and then body, where as human beings are physical body first
and then spirit, or possibly both at the same time)
There are other sons of God in the Bible in Genesis 6:2 and 6:4
Jesus is the first spiritual or heavenly son of God and Adam is the first earthly son of God (Adam who also had a spirit).
We are also earthly sons of God.
Is it possible that Seth is a literal son of Adam, and Adam a figurative son of God? It seems unlikely that the writer
would use the word son in a literal way thirty seven times and then create confusion by changing his meaning to
figurative at the last time!
Summary
Luke 3:38 Adam is a Son of God regarding genealogy
We have seen that all human beings have God as their Father regarding genealogy.
Once we confirm Adam is a literal son then the question becomes, is Adam the firstborn? If not, who is? Cain?

Jesus is the only one in the NT who is referred to as the firstborn Son of God the Father.
There is an in depth analysis 02B Jesus the Firstborn of God before Creation linked here that shows that God fathered
Jesus before Adam and that Jesus is His "Firstborn."

Part 4B The Fatherless

No NIV scripture says fatherless or father less
Two scriptures say orphan
G3737 Orphanos: bereft of a father or parents, teacher, guide or guardian Word count 2
John 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans G3737; I will come to you.
19
Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
20
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. God is in Jesus,
21
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved
by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
Vs18 Jesus wont leave people as orphans are left without a guardian
Vs19
Vs20 Jesus is in disciples
Vs21 God will love us and Christ will also love us.
James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows
in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Disciples should look after orphans
Summary:
John 14:18 We will not be left as orphans
James 1:27 Disciples should look after orphans
No scripture says father less, it is not possible to not have a Father even if they are dead

Part 4C God the Figurative father

There are no passages that show God as a figurative Father because as seen throughout these studies He is the Father
and creator of all human beings.

P4D Originator of a class or profession

I have found no NT passages to add to this Part.

Part 4E A term of respect and honor

Acts 22:1 "Brothers and fathers, listen now to my defense."
If God is the disciples father regarding genealogy then the men are all brothers in the same way
Fathers could be referring to
A/ A term of address for the elderly men,
B/ To literal fathers with human sons
1 Corinthians 4:15 Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers,
for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.

The not many fathers could be their ancestors

Paul is a figurative father in terms of respect and or honor and uses the same for others
Summary:
Acts 22:1
1 Cor 4:15 Paul is a figurative father in terms of respect and or honor and uses the same for others
Although Acts 22:1 could be understood in two ways, 1 Cor 4:15 is using father as a title of honor for Paul.

P5A-F God caused Jesus to live

Part 5A God is the Father of all People And of Jesus

The early parts of this study have given us the basic definition and meaning of the term "Father" when it is used for
people and when it is used for God. From here onwards the focus will be on the fact that God is the Father of Jesus with
the same definition.
In Parts 3A-3C it was identified that God is our Father, the Father of All people, Jesus and the bible stated it on many
many occasions to many to repeat here.
Jesus says
your heavenly Father
Matt 5:48 & 6:14 & 6:26 & 6:32
Jesus says
your Father in heaven
Matt 5:16, 45, 6:1, 7:11, 18:14 Mark 11:25, Luke 11:13
Jesus says
your Father
referring to God our Father forty four times
Each time Jesus is confirming that God is the Father of each human being on the planet regarding genealogy with the
definition stated.
In Part 5E it will be identified that
Jesus refers to God as my father 50+ times
Jesus refers to God as my father and heaven 23 times ESV. 21 times NIV
Jesus refers to God as my father in heaven 7 times
Jesus refers to God as my heavenly father 2 times (Matt 15:13 & 18:35)
Each time Jesus is confirming that God is his Father regarding genealogy with the definition stated.
John 20:17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers
and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'
Jesus has repeatedly throughout the book of John (eighty times) called God "the Father". He now tells the people
listening that "the Father" is "your Father" and "my Father."
Jesus has told us that "the Father," is shared with the people and with Jesus.
Jesus is telling us all as clearly as he can that God is
Father: He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
Jesus is telling us all as clearly as he can that Jesus is
Son: He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created
Romans 16:6-7 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God
God the Father is the God of Christ and the Father of Christ.
Christ has God as his Father.
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father is working until now, and I am working.

Jesus calls God "my Father" on 21 occasions in the book of John, this is the first example
Summary
John 20:17
Rom 16:6-7
John 5:17

Jesus has told us that "the Father," God, is shared with the people and with Jesus.
God the Father is the God of Christ and the Father of Christ.
Jesus calls God "my Father" on 21 occasions in the book of John, this is the first example

Father:
Son:

He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created

This is the absolute crux of this study, when Jesus makes the direct comparison of God as his Father and our Father.
Because of the definitions proven earlier and because of the way Jesus tells us that God is our Father and God is his
Father, Jesus has told us that he is a created being just as we are and he is therefore not God. There is no other
conclusion possible from this analysis.

Part 5B When did God become the Father of Jesus?

There was a day, or a point, when God became the Father of Jesus Christ.
NIV Acts 13:32-34 What God promised our fathers
33
he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: " 'You are my
Son; today I have become your Father.
34
The fact that God raised him from the dead, never to decay, is stated in these words:
Quoting Psalm 2:7 which can be reviewed in the OT Father study in Part 5A.
If God became Jesus Father on today then what about the day before? Obviously things were different yesterday when
God was not Jesus' Father.
If God had been the Father of Jesus from the past eternally, God would not say "I have become your Father."
God would not say "I have become your Father" if in fact He meant "I have become you" or "you are me in the flesh."
There was a day when God was not Jesus' Father, a day when there was no Father/Son relationship, a day when Jesus
did not exist. There was a day when God became Jesus' Father, a day when Jesus became God's Son, a day when Jesus
began to exist.
ESV Hebrews 5:5 So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him
who said to him, You are my Son, today I have begotten you;
Christ did not decide, God did. "Him" who did the appointing was God.
God said to Jesus. They spoke to each other. This is because they are two separate beings.
If Jesus were God, it would not make sense to say "You are my son, I have begotten (G1080/Gennao) you."
We could ask, If God was Jesus' Father before creation then why would he be referring to an earthly day? Because time
may not have been in effect, we could say a period of existence instead of day. We don't know for sure that the term
"day" did not exist at that point. It is written this way for us to understand that Jesus had a beginning.
Today I have begotten you means now at this point I have become your father" which means a point before it
happened. A point when God was not Jesus' Father, a point Jesus did not exist.
"Begotten you" comes from the Greek term G1080/Gennao which is in the NT 97 times. Each of the times it
refers to the beginning of life. It is translated to "the father of," or "born," or "delivered," or "conceived," or
"begotten." Each and every use of the word has the same overall definition which is the start of a life. When this
sentence is written it has the same biblical definition.
NIV Hebrews 1:6
For to which of the angels did God ever say, You are my Son; today I have become your Father? Or again, I
will be his Father, and he will be my Son?

again, when God brings his firstborn (G4416 KJV: begotten) into the world, he says, Let all Gods angels
worship him.
6 And

This passage is better analyzed in full, vs1-14, as there are other important statements and also difficult quotes.
Vs5 The middle part of this verse is quoting Psalm 2:7
Vs5 The writer is pointing out that God did not say "you are my son" or "today I am your Father" to angels, because
there was a specialness that applied to Jesus and not the angels.
Vs5 "Today I have become" and "I will be" and "he will be" are all statements that indicate a point when it was not. This
being the case clearly opposes the idea of an eternal son.
Vs6 The second part of the sentence is quoting Deuteronomy 32:43 only in Dead Sea Scrolls Septuagint and NLT
The writer continues in the same vein expressing the beginning of the Father-Son relationship.
Vs6 The literal possibilities that apply to Colossians 1:15 also apply to Hebrews 1:6. this refers to Jesus' beginning his
origin.
The breakdown of the two verses confirm Jesus is not God long before getting to firstborn
You are my Son:
1/
"You"
indicates a second being
2/
"my"
indicates the first being is an owner
3/
"son"
indicates an origin
today I have become your Father:
4/
"Today"
indicates a time before it happened
5/
"I have"
indicates the first being doing something
6/
"have become" indicates a time before it happened
7
"your"
indicates the second being
8/
"Father"
indicates an originator
I will be his Father:
9/
"I"
indicates the first being
10/
"will be"
indicates a time when he was not
11/
"his"
indicates the second being
12/
"Father"
indicates the originator
he will be my son:
13/
"he"
indicates the first being
14/
"will be"
indicates a time when he was not
15/
"my"
indicates an owner
16/
"son"
indicates an origin
Again, when God brings his firstborn:
17/
"Again"
indicates a repeat of what he just said in vs5
18/
"God brings" indicates a bringer and the brought
19/
"his"
indicates an owner
20/ Finally
"firstborn," a first in time and a new birth.
The writer explained to us everything we need to know about the beginning of Jesus' life. This entire passage states a
you and an I, a Father and a Son, a have and a have not, an owner and an owned, a bringer and a brought, an originator
and an originated, a will be and a before, a today and a yesterday. Again means a repetition, vs6 is a repeat or
confirmation of vs5. In context, firstborn is a continuation of the statements in the previous passage.
How much evidence is needed, how many words do we need to make a statement? This is the beginning of Jesus life,
explained in clear detail as concisely and precisely as could possibly be written.

"I will be his Father" tells us there was a time when God was not his Father.
He will be my son, tells us there was a time when Jesus was not God's Son.
The words "will be" are written to show that it was something that was going to happen, therefore it was something that
at some point had not yet happened.
Why does this passage say your Father or his father instead of the father?
It is written this way to show that the term Father is in relation to Jesus as an individual, God is Jesus' individual Father.
How can God bring his firstborn, specifically bring, specifically his, if firstborn is not referring to Jesus having a
beginning, being brought by another, and being owned by another? None of these apply to God.
God brought his spiritually firstborn son from heaven to be Marys physical firstborn son on the earth. Firstborn means
a beginning of life; therefore, Jesus has a beginning and an origin. Some say that because God says, let all Gods angels
worship him, that Jesus is God. This is not the case. (See my section 37F: Who Do We Worship?)
There is an in depth study 02B Jesus Firstborn of God Before Creation linked here that looks at all examples of the term
"firstborn" in the New Testament. It shows how at some point at the dawn of creation Jesus had a beginning of life with
God.
Summary:
Acts 13:33
Heb 5:5
Heb 1:5

You are my son, today I have become your Father

You are my son, today I have begotten you.
I will be his Father, and he will be my Son

You are my son, today I have become your Father.

Before this happened there was a day or a point when Jesus did not exist, when he had not been born or begotten. A day
or a point when God existed and Jesus did not exist.

Part 5C God was the Father of Jesus before creation

John 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
Jesus confirms that he was with God the Father, and had glory, before the world began.
John 17:24 "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory
you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
Jesus was loved as God the Fathers son, before the creation of the world
John 6:37-40 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at
the last day.
Vs37 The Father gave people to the Son, before that point the son did not have them.
Vs38 Jesus the son of the Father was in heaven, then came to earth and became the son of man
Jesus came to do the will of the Father who he was with before this time
Jesus was sent by his Father
Vs39 Jesus as a son was in existence before coming to the earth and was sent by his Father, God.
Summary:
John 17:5

Jesus had a Father before the creation of the world

John 17:24
John 6:37

Jesus was loved as the Son of the/his/our Father before the creation of the world
Jesus had a Father before he was sent from heaven. To do the will of his Father, not his own.
God was the Father of Jesus regarding genealogy before the creation of the world

God is shown to be the Father of Jesus before creation of the world. The definition of the word Father in these passages
is still the basic definition defined in the OT study and in the earlier parts of this study.
Father: He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
God was Jesus' Father, with this definition, before the creation of the world.

Part 5D The Father Caused the Son to Live

John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
Jesus is speaking.
Jesus had to be granted life by God the Father, before this point Jesus did not have it.
There was never a point when God did not have life, but there was a point when Jesus did not have life.
God doesnt need anything granting to himself, as he owns everything.
John 6:57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live
because of me.
Jesus tells us that he only lives because of the Father, he would not live otherwise.
Here we have a cause and an effect, the Father is the cause and Jesus is the effect. The Father is why this happened, the
Son is what happened. There was an event when this took place, and therefore a point before the event had taken place.
Because there was a point when this had not taken place, then there was a point when Jesus did not live.
Because God had always lived, Jesus who began at some point to live cannot be God.
Romans 15:6 so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God and Father of Jesus Christ
In parts 1A-4E we have determined the biblical definition of the term father: He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life,
ancestor, originator, creator.
When this sentence says "Father of our Lord Jesus" the same definition applies showing that the Father caused the Son
to exist. God is the giver of life to Jesus, God is the originator of Jesus, God is the creator of Jesus etc.
God holds the highest position possible known to all creation, therefore when the word Father is also applied to God the
only additional implication is that God is now also a male ancestor which up until that point he was not. All the other
positions of title or honor that come with the name father would have already applied to God from anything that was
created not Fathered.
2 Corinthians 13:4 For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power. Likewise, we are
weak in him, yet by God's power we will live with him to serve you.
Jesus still lives by Gods power. If God wanted, Jesus would not live.
If Jesus lives by Gods power then it stands to reason that without Gods power, Jesus would not live. This cannot be
stated the other way around. It is not true to say God lives by Jesus power, there is no equality, bible statements like
these show that Jesus is not God.
When the passage says "likewise" it is paralleling the fact that Jesus "lives by God's power" with the fact that "by God's
power we will live." There is nothing difficult or complicated about this, it is a direct parallel of how Jesus lives being
directly compared with how we live. We, along with Jesus Christ, only live because of God's power.
Jesus is not like God who is self sustaining, he is like us who has a God and need a God to give us life.
Summary:

John 5:26
John 6:57
Romans 15:6
2 Cor 13:4

The Father granted the son to have life

Jesus says he lives because of the Father
God the Father of our lord Jesus Christ
Jesus still lives by Gods power

Here we see that the father granted the Son to have life, Jesus lives because of the Father, and God created the Son. God
the Father by His power specifically caused his son, Jesus, to live.

Part 5E God is Jesus' Heavenly Father

Jesus refers to God as my father 53 times
Jesus refers to God as my father and heaven 23 times ESV. 21 times NIV
Jesus refers to God as my father in heaven 7 times
Jesus refers to God as my heavenly father 2 times (Matt 15:13 & 18:35)
All of these examples can be compared to those in P3B when Jesus is saying to people that God is to your rather than
my Father. In P3B Jesus says "your Father," "your Father in heaven," and "your heavenly Father."
The same definition applies in all cases. He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
Mathew 7:21-22 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he
who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Just as in P3A-C where God is our heavenly Father regarding genealogy we see here that Christ tells the people that his
Father is also in heaven. Jesus has the same heavenly Father, regarding genealogy, as we do.
Matthew 10:32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who
is in heaven,
33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Vs32 Jesus will acknowledge or deny men before his Father in heaven. Jesus has a Father.
Mathew 15:13 He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.
Jesus calls God his heavenly Father
Revelation 1:6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Fatherto him be glory and
power for ever and ever! Amen.
John says we are to serve Jesus' God, to serve Jesus' Father, Jesus has a God and Jesus has a Father.
There is no confusion that John thinks Jesus is God, or that John thinks God is a figurative Father.
Also Mathew 10:32-33, 15:13, 18:34-35, 26:42, 26:53,
The statements God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ or God the Father and the lord Jesus Christ are in Pauls
letters alone approximately 30 times inc 2 Cor 11:21, Eph 1:17, Col 1:3, 1 Peter 1:3,

The will of my Father who is in heaven

My Father who is in heaven
Jesus calls God his heavenly Father
Jesus has a God and Father, one and the same thing, in heaven.

A handful of scriptures to support the 53 times in the NT when Jesus calls God "my Father" or "my Father in heaven."
Here is a chart that shows the expanded information in the center column from Parts 3A-3C where it was identified that
God is our Father, the Father of all people. In the left column it shows the expanded information from Part 5E where
God is Jesus' Father. These two columns are compared with the right column where God is referred to as "the Father."

The same definition applies; He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
The point of the chart is to identify Jesus as a created being. After the chart I have identified 20 key points of interest.

The entire point of this chart is to see that the term "Father" always has the same definition.
He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
Because this is true, Jesus is created and therefore not God.

1/

Jesus calls God "my Father" in one way or another on 53 occasions

Jesus tells us God is "your Father" in one way or another on 24 occasions
Paul tells us God is "our Father" in one way or another on 13 occasions
When God is called "the Father" it is with the same definition as all other uses.

2/

Your heavenly Father:

My heavenly Father:
The heavenly Father:
Jesus speaking in all cases.

Luke 11:13

3/

Our Father in heaven:

My Father in heaven:

Matt 6:9
Matt 12:50, 18:19

4/

In Matt 6:9 Jesus tells the disciples to say "our Father" etc when praying to God, meaning their Father and
Jesus' Father.
Some would argue that "our" included the disciples but not Jesus. This viewpoint has no strength based on
the fact that Jesus called God "my Father" 53 times.

5/

Your Father who is in heaven:

Matt 5:16, 5:45, 6:1, 7:11
My Father who is in heaven:
Matt 7:21, 10:32, 10:33, 16:17, 18:10, 18:14
You have one Father who is in heaven: Matt 23:9

6/
Matt 7:21 Jesus says "my Father who is in heaven" after saying to the people on sixteen occasions that
Father is in heaven.

their

7/
Jesus combines Matt 10:20 and 10:29 where he says "your Father" with Matt 10:32 and 10:33 where he says
"my Father."
8/

Jesus combines "my Father" with "the Father" five times in Matt 11:25-27

9/

Matt 20:23
My Father
Matt 23:9
You have one Father
Matt 24:36
But the Father only
Matt 25:34
Blessed by my Father
Jesus goes from "my Father" to peoples Father, to "the Father," back to "my Father."

10/

Luke 10:22

11/

John 5:17 Jesus says "my Father" and follows it with "the Father" in vs. 19,20, 21,22, and 23 twice.

12/

"My Father" says Jesus in John 6:32 and 6:40 compared with "the Father" in 6:27, 37, 44, 45, and 46 twice.

13/

John 8:16, 18, 27, 28 "the Father" compared to John 8:19 where Jesus says "my Father" twice.

14/

John 10:15, and 17, "the Father" followed in vs. 18 by "my Father"

15/

In John 10:29 Jesus says "my Father" followed by "the Father" in 10:30, 32 and 36
In John 10:37 Jesus says "my Father" followed by "the Father" in vs. 38 twice

16/

In John 12:26 Jesus says "the Father" then calls God "Father" in vs27 and 28.

17/

In John 14:6 Jesus says "the Father"

In John 14:7 Jesus says "my Father"
In John 14:8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 16, Jesus again says "the Father"

"My Father" and "the Father" in the same sentence.

In John 14:20, 21, and 23 Jesus again says "my Father"

In John 14:26, 28, and 31 Jesus again says "the Father"
Here Jesus is going back and forth, back and forth between "my Father" and "the Father." The same
definition.
18/

In John 15:1, 8, 15, 23, 24 Jesus says "my Father."

In John 15:9, 16 and 26 twice Jesus says "the Father."

17/

In John 20:17 Jesus calls God "my Father" and "your Father" and "the Father" in the same breath.
All three versions of "my," "your," and "the," have the same definition in each case. Jesus alternates and
compares one with the other which shows that they all mean the same thing.

18/

Paul says in 1 Cor 8:6 There is one God, the Father.

This is a passage where Paul is clarifying who God is and who Jesus is. Paul is saying that "the Father" is
the same being as when Jesus says "my Father" and when Jesus says "your Father." There is no back and
forth on the definition, it is always the same.

19/

Paul says "our Father" at the beginning of each of his books and then says "the Father" on numerous more
occasions. Each meaning the same thing

Again the point of this chart and this numerical list is to show that Father has the same core definition in every single
case shown.
Because of this, God created Jesus and therefore Jesus is not God.
The only alternative is for there to be a secondary definition when Jesus says "my" before he says "Father." This option
has been eliminated in the early parts of this study and in the chart itself.

Part 5F Jesus is the "Son" of God the Father

Mathew 17:5 A voice from a cloud said This is my son whom I love, with him I am well pleased. Listen to
him.
God said "this is my son," here we have an owner and an owned.
God said "this is my son," a son is different from the father. God did not say, this is me in a human body He did not
say "this is God" or this is my brother or my father. God is introducing His son to the people.
Son: He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created
God said "with him I am well pleased," God is pleased not with Himself but with another being.
God said "listen to him," God is telling us to listen to another being. The term "him" tells us there is a second someone.
We have God and we have the "him" we are to listen to, Jesus. Two separate entities.
Why, if Jesus is God, does God never call Jesus God? Was God the Father trying to hide it from us? Was it meant to be
a secret?
Mark 14:61-62 Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?"
62
"I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on
the clouds of heaven."
From Jesus own mouth, firstly "I am the Son of God" and secondly "I am coming with God".
As per the definitions defined in the OT and NT Father studies along with the Son of God study the meaning of the term
"son" is
Son: He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created
Per the definition, Jesus tells us that he received life from God and that he was created.
Jesus says he is "of the blessed one," he did not say "I am the blessed one." Just like we are "of God," so is Jesus.
Jesus second point is that he is coming "with" God. Do some really believe God is coming with God at the end of times?
So two Gods? God sitting next to God? Jesus would not make this statement if he is God.

John 3:13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only (G3439) Son, that whoever believes in him should not
perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be
saved through him.
Vs13 Jesus is the one who descended and ascended to heaven, different from all others.
Vs16 G3439/Monogenes: Only born, sole, only begotten child, one and only.
The term G3439/Monogenes is in the New Testament nine times, four times in reference to an only human child and
five times in reference to Jesus Christ as an only child to God.
Monogenes always applies at a point, or time, when the parent does not have any more children. However the parent is
able to have more as does Abraham after Ishmael who was at one point his monogenes Hebrews 11:17. God in the same
way had more children after Jesus was his monogenes firstborn.
Monogenes does not carry the sense of unoriginated relationship or eternal begetting.
The human definition of monogenes came after the monogenes definition for Jesus therefore it is based on Jesus' precreation definition. Each time monogenes refers to a human being it refers to an only child. Each time the
monogenes had a beginning, a birth, a point they came into existence and a point before that when they did not exist.
The parent may or may not have gone on to have other children.
All human monogenes had a birth a beginning and a point before that when they didnt exist, the same definition applies
when monogenes is in reference to Jesus. Jesus as the Monogenes came after God. Because of this definition, Jesus as
the monogenes cannot be God.
There is an in depth look at all nine times the term G3439/Monogenes is used in the bible, in Parts 7B-7C at
02C The Son of God Before Creation linked here
Vs16 God gave his son, Jesus was in existence as the Son of God, with God, before the creation. God then gave/sent
Jesus his Son to the earth where he became the Son of Man.
If a son is sent somewhere by his father he is a son when he is sent, before he gets to the destination. He doesnt become
a son on arrival, he is already a son on departure.
If we say Jesus is God then we say that God gave his "one and only" God which would mean there are two God's.
Vs17 God sent his son into the world, God said, Son, go into the world Jesus was the son before coming to earth. The
world was saved not only because God exists but because he sent another, Jesus, to aid the process.
John 5:24-29 truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He
does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
25 Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of
God, and those who hear will live.
26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.
27 And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice
29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the
resurrection of judgment.
Vs25 A prediction of the Day of Judgment when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God
Jesus is still the Son of God at the end of times.
The definition of the term "son" is the same definition throughout Jesus existence. It applied before the creation, it
applied when Jesus was on the earth, and it applies here at the end of time on the Day of Judgment.
2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father's Son, will be
with us in truth and love.
God and Christ the Fathers son, two beings.

This is extremely clear that there is two of them, separate and different.
Not Jesus who is God, and not God who is Jesus. Jesus is God the Father's son
Also 2 John 1:9 and Hebrews 2:5-17
Summary:
Mathew 17:5
Mark 14:61-62
John 3:13-17
John 5:24-29
2 John 1:3

God said "this is my son," He did not say "this is God"

From Jesus' mouth, firstly "I am the Son of God" and secondly "I am coming with God".
God gave his son, Jesus was in existence as the Son of God, with God, before the creation
Jesus is still the Son of God at the end of times.
God and Christ the Fathers son, two beings.

God tells us, Jesus tells us, John and Peter tell us, that Jesus is a "son."
Son: He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created
The bible tells us that Jesus received life from God and that he was created.
Jesus the son is very different from God the father.
What else could scripture say to clarify the difference?
There is no bible statement where God says I am Gods son and also God.

Summaries and Final Conclusion:

Part 0A God is the Father and creator of every human being that has ever existed with this definition.
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Masculine: of a gender that refers chiefly (but not exclusively) to males or to objects classified as male
Parent: a mother or father, a progenitor or ancestor, anything from which other things are derived,
source, origin
Ancestor: A parent or the parent of an ancestor. Somebody from whom a person is descended.
Giver of life: A father is a giver of life when he gives his sperm to be fertilized with the female egg?
The process would not work without the fathers sperm unless God created another process
Originator: Someone who creates new things, causes a specified beginning, create or initiate, instigator.
The one from which something comes.
Creator: cause to exist, bring into being, to result in something, to make something happen. To produce or
bring about by a course of action or behavior
Part 1A

A father, H3962/Pater, is the immediate and closest biological male parent regarding genealogy
The father G1080/Genao became the father of, his son.
Several of the words for the definition stated at the beginning are found here. A father is always a
he, him and masculine this will be the case in all parts of this study and always the case each time
the term "father" is used. Here we specifically identify the word "parent" which we understand to
be the closest biological parent. Also the father is identified as "a giver of life." Both the definitions
of "parent" and "giver of life" will continue throughout this study. The Greek words H3962/Pater
and G1080/Genao are used on numerous occasions throughout.
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

Part 1B
Our grandfather, great grandfather and any direct male ancestor are biblically also our fathers, or
G3962/Pater, regarding genealogy.
Here we have added the word "ancestor" to the core definition of the word "father."
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Part 1C
Once a first son was born to a father and a group had begun, then that father was the father
regarding genealogy of that group as he had caused it to have life. People who joined the group
may not have been biological sons or daughters meaning that he wasnt their biological father,
however he was the father of the group as its originator and creator.
Here we have added the word "originator" to the core definition of the word "father."
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator

Part 2A
God G4160/Poieo made, G2936/Ktizo created, G1096/Ginomai gave being, G4111/Plasso formed,
Adam and Eve
Theses words show that God is a creator of Adam and Eve, although creator is not yet tied to the
word Father for God.
Part 2B
God G4160/poieo made, and G2936/ktizo created, and G4111/plasso formed all human beings as
he did Adam and Eve in P2A using the same words. Along with G2227/zoopoieo: to produce alive,
cause to live, G2939/ktistes: founder, creator.
These Greek (or English translations) words have the same meaning as the Hebrew words used to
describe how God creates each human being in the OT in 01C Part 2B.
The evidence is so overwhelming that this Part proves beyond question that God is the creator of
each and every human being that ever existed. The terms listed form the definition of the term
"creator." Later this study will show that when God is called "Father," the basic meaning is that He
is being referred to as our creator.
Part 2B2
God G4160/poieo made, G837/auxano caused to grow, G2936/ktizo created, everything that is on
or in the earth, if he created everything then that includes 6 billion people currently living
Part 3A

God the Father G2936/Ktizo created, and G1096/Ginomai made us

God is the father and creator of all human beings
Here we have added the word "creator" to the core definition of the word "father."
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
All parts of the definition have now been clearly identified.

Part 3B

The NT explains that God is our heavenly Father and the Father of our spirits.
It is of extreme importance that it is Jesus telling people that God is their Father because later in
Part 5A Jesus says "my Father and your Father" to show that Jesus and people share the same
Father and with the same definition which is
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Here, as in the OT, is a comparison chart of words used for God the creator compared to words
used for God the Father, also a creator. It identifies the fact that when God is called by the name
"Father" we are saying that he created us using the words shown.

God as the Creator of all People

God as the Father of each and every person

G1096/Ginomai gave being,

G2227/zoopoieo: to produce alive, cause to live,
G2936/Ktizo created,
G2939/ktistes: founder, creator.
G4111/Plasso formed
G4160/Poieo made,

G1096/Ginomai made us
G2936/Ktizo created

God the Father gave all people their births. He is, according to both the NT and the OT definition,
the Father of every human being ever fathered or created with the following definition.
Father: He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Just as in the OT this is one of the most critical parts of this study. What has been identified is the
core definition of the term "father" in the bible. When God is referred to as a "father" he is always
being referred to as He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator. Not
sometimes but always.
When anyone in the bible, calls God by the term "Father" they are saying that God created them.

Part 3C

God is the Father of nations.

Part 4A

Luke 3:38 Adam is a Son of God regarding genealogy

We have seen that all human beings have God as their Father regarding genealogy.
Once we confirm Adam is a literal son then the question becomes, is Adam the firstborn? If not,
who is? Cain? No human being is referred to as Gods firstborn in the OT. We have to go to the NT
to see that Jesus is/was the firstborn Son of God the Father.

Part 4B

No scripture says father less, it is not possible to not have a Father even if they are dead

Part 4C
There are no passages that show God as a figurative Father because as seen throughout these
studies He is the Father and creator of all human beings.
Part 5A

John 20:17
Jesus has told us that "the Father," God, is shared with the people and with Jesus.
Rom 16:6-7 God the Father is the God of Christ and the Father of Christ.
John 5:17 Jesus calls God "my Father" on 21 occasions in the book of John, this is the 1st example
Father:
He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
Son:
He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created
This is the absolute crux of this study, when Jesus makes the direct comparison of God as his
Father and our Father.
Because of the definitions proven earlier and because of the way Jesus tells us that God is our
Father and God is his Father, Jesus has told us that he is a created being just as we are and he is
therefore not God. There is no other conclusion possible from this analysis.
Your are my son, today I have become your Father.
Because there was a day, or a point, before this happened then there was a day or a point when the
Trinity theory could not have existed. Therefore the foundation of any theory that says it is without
beginning, has to be false.
Before this happened there was a day or a point when Jesus did not exist, when he had not been
born or begotten. A day or a point when God existed and Jesus did not exist.

Part 5B

Part 5C
God is shown to be the Father of Jesus before the creation of the world. The definition of the word
Father in these passages is still the basic definition defined in the OT study and in the earlier parts
of this study.
Father: He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
God was Jesus' Father, with this definition, before the creation of the world.
Part 5D
Here we see that the father granted the Son to have life, Jesus lives because of the Father, and God
created the Son. God the Father by His power specifically caused his son, Jesus, to live
Part 5E

A handful of scriptures to support the 53 times in the NT when Jesus calls God "my Father" or
"my Father in heaven."
Here is a chart that shows the expanded information in the center column from Parts 3A-3C where
it was identified that God is our Father, the Father of all people. In the left column it shows the
expanded information from Part 5E where God is Jesus' Father. These two columns are compared
with the right column where God is referred to as "the Father."
The same definition applies; He, him, masculine, parent, a giver of life, ancestor, originator, creator
The point of the chart is to identify Jesus as a created being. After the chart I have identified 20 key
points of interest.

Part 5F

Mathew 17:5 God said "this is my son," He did not say "this is God"
Mark 14:61 From Jesus' mouth, firstly "I am the Son of God" and secondly "I am coming with God
John 3:13God gave his son, Jesus was in existence as the Son of God, with God, before the creation
John 5:24-29
Jesus is still the Son of God at the end of times.
2 John 1:3
God and Christ the Fathers son, two beings.

God tells us, Jesus tells us, John and Peter tell us, that Jesus is a "son."
Son: He, him, masculine, child, descendant, receiver of life, having origin, created
The bible tells us that Jesus received life from God and that he was created.
Jesus the son is very different from God the father.
What else could scripture say to clarify the difference?
There is no bible statement where God says I am Gods son and also God
Overall Conclusion:
Just as in 01C The OT Father the following facts are confirmed in 01D The NT Father.
The term father for any human being in P1A-C is any direct male ancestor all the way to Adam and then to God.
God in P2A-2B2 is the creator and giver of life to every human being that ever lived.
In P3A-B God the Father G2936/Ktizo created, and G1096/Ginomai made us. God is the father and creator of all human
beings. Father: He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator, creator
The term Father is a literal term for God, in relation to any human being, who created and fathered us.
When anyone in the bible, calls God by the term "Father" they are saying that God created them
In 4A-C Adam is a son of God but not the firstborn, Jesus is the firstborn
Part 5A The crux of the entire study, Jesus tells us that God is his God and our God. The Father is his Father and our
Father. God the Father is his creator and our creator.
Part 5B There was a point when God was not the Father and Jesus was not the Son
Part 5C God was the Father and creator of Jesus Christ before the creation of the world
Part 5D God specifically caused Jesus to live
Part 5E-F God and Jesus are separate and distinct beings. Jesus is not God.
Here again is the definition from the beginning of the O1C OT Father study. This definition was shown to be true in the
OT and has just been shown to be true in 01D NT Father study. This entire definition fits perfectly to God in relation to
Jesus. God is the father and creator of Jesus, Jesus was given life and therefore is not God.

Giver of life: A father is a giver of life
Originator: Someone who creates new things, causes a specified beginning, create or initiate, instigator. The one
from which something comes.
Creator:
cause to exist, bring into being, to result in something, to make something happen. To produce or
bring about by a course of action or behavior
This entire definition is fully supported in 01C OT Father and 01D NT Father studies.
