Sentencesinthefirstlessonweresimple.Yetsimplestsentenceinanylanguageisasingleword
sentence,whichisofteninimperativemood.ForexampleGo.Althoughitisasentencewith
singleword,whichisaverb,thesubjectisimplicit.Gomeans(You)go.
InSanskritalso,itwouldbeasinglewordsentence,.Butifoneisaddressingtwopeopleto
go,onewouldsayandifoneisaddressingmorethantwopersons,then.

Addressinganybodyinthesecondpersonisnotconsideredgoodlinguisticetiquee.InSanskrit
thereisarespectfulpronounofthesecondpersonandittakesverbsinthirdperson!Thepronoun
