This course is an introduction into the field of

education. I took this course as a freshman when I first
became interested in becoming a teacher. I knew after
completing the semester's service hours within an
elementary school that I wanted to work with children
in my future profession.

This course is an eye opener to the diverse world we

live in. I learned so many new things about the
community and my peers I met in class. This class
forced you to step out of your comfort zone at times
and pushed you to realize everyone has their own story
to tell.

In this course I learned about how children think and

how their levels cognitively grow and adapt as they
age.

For someone who isn't computer savvy, this course

was a great introduction on how to use a wide range of
different technologies to aide in our teaching. I think
that this class was very beneficial and will help me
outside of the education realm as well.
