Recommendations

Problem 1:
Lack of Liquid
Layout
Problem:
The website lacks a liquid
layout. A liquid layout adjusts
the homepage to different
screen sizes.
Without a liquid layout, users
are unable adjust the window
size and still view all of the
information on the page.

Recommendation:
We recommend hiring a web
designer to convert the
webpage to a liquid layout.

Problem 2:
Search Bar
Option
Problem:
Search bars are essential for
easy navigation. The site has
a search bar specifically for
catalogued books, but not for
the site in general.

Recommendation:
We recommend adding a
search bar for the entire site
and placing it in the top righthand corner of your
homepage.

Problem 3:
Navigation
Problem:
The website has too many tabs on
the navigation bar. There should be
a max of nine items on the
navigation bar.

Remove
these
tabs.

Certain tabs on the navigation bar

do not allow you to navigate back
to the home page. A user should
always be able to get back to the

page using the navigation
bar.
W
e recommend removing the top
four navigation buttons. This keeps
the navigation bar from being too
cluttered and users will be able to
navigate home using the rest.
You can add these as separate links
on the homepage.
