4. How secure are you in your current position? What do you think is the future of your field?

Currently, I am an at home mom. I get many calls asking me to come back to work from home health, hospitals,
and school districts. There is a shortage. Great job security.

In the public schools, at least in California you get a raise each year based on cost of living average, continuing
education hours and years worked.
7. What excited you the most or is most rewarding to you about your profession?
I loved parent education in title I schools as well as assessments and diagnosing. I also love seeing students
confidence clear as their speech improves.
8. What kind of help do you need to do your best work?
. Mentorship and continued learning especially with new research
9. How do you establish relationships and maintain effective communication with coworkers?
Get involved, communicate, attend staff meetings and district meetings regularly.
10. Why did you choose this profession? How did this job in specific interest you?

My love for kids and helping them/It also helped with my family life as I had children. They were on my
same school schedule.
