Dear Parents,
Our school will be participating in BC Spelling Bee Championship 2016.
There will be four stages.
First Stage (Class): The first stage is at class level. Students must learn to spell
and say the list of attached words by Monday, November 23rd. They should be
able to spell the word verbally as well as be able to write the word.
Second Stage (Grade): The top three spellers from each class will participate at
grade level competition. If your child succeeds at grade level, they will bring
home a notice and a registration form.
Third Stage (Regional): From those the top three will be selected to go through
to regional's which will be held at Khalsa School for the 2015/16 school year in
April. There will be a fee of $35 to enter at the regional level.
Fourth Stage (National): If they succeed at the regional level, they can proceed
to the National level which will be held in Toronto.
