ALEXANDER J MACPHERSON
I am an enthusiastic and active person with a passion for sporting activities and the outdoors. I
enjoy organizing, problem solving and interacting with others; I am a keen learner who is looking
for an opportunity to broaden my experiences.

which are valuable in any work environment.

Assisted with a couple of charities, which were un-paid. Furthermore I have obtained one weeks
work experience; working for Drum Cussac, a maritime security company.

My time with Drum Cussac was short but enlightening. It allowed me to see advanced tactics in
maritime security and a real office lifestyle. Drum Cussac taught me a lot about hard work and
commitment.
My experience working at Pete Halls catering was very fulfilling. The job consisted of working
behind portable food vans, such as burgers and baguettes. The job was demanding and it taught
me how to work under pressure and complete tasks to standard and at speed. This job is only part
time and is only at events. The event I for was the Sea Work Exhibition 2013 held at Southampton
Docks UK.
My job as a crew member at Sandringham Hotel taught me teamwork among other attributes. My
experience has allowed me to obtain the skill of communication when speaking to a customer and
management skills.
My job as a slope instructor at Snow Traxx in Matchams, UK. The job requires me to supervise the
ringo and bobsled activities. In this job I spend a lot of time around young children; this has taught
me patience and communication skills.
Achievements:

Played Rugby for School first XV.


Played Rugby for Bournemouth U16.
Attended Global Young Leaders conference in USA 2011, Washington and NY. Presented and
debated international issues at the US state department and United Nations Headquarters.

Completed National Life Guard qualification (2011)


Completed 3 Peaks 2008.
Travelled round Europe to 10 countries and 14 cities, taking 5 weeks in total.
Cycled through 5 countries in Europe (1200km) in 14 days.
Successfully achieved a 26 day Advanced Close Protection Operators Course and gained an
FPOS Qualification, Hostile Environment Awareness Qualification and a QCF (Close
Protection Qualification).
