-handout could have fill in the blanks for them to follow along with powerpoint

-give them time (3-5 minutes) to fill out the front page with the proper words
-go over answers
-have them flip over the handout

-learning simple phrases to say I like____ or I don't like ____ Je prefere____ or Je

deteste _____
-Write these phrases on the board for them also to make reference to
-say in english, french, have them repeat, write on board, say again, repeat again
-Survey, kids ask other kids what their favourite subject is or if they like a certain subject. Have
them write it down on the sheet
-Bringing it back in at the end do a class survey. Have kids raise their hands for their favourite
class. Write on board

-back up activity if there is extra time at the end

-wordsearch with school subjects

Goals of Lesson :
-have the students learn the french terms for subjects in school
-use those words in a question or sentence that relates to them
-have a small conversation using these words, putting the vocabulary learned into practical use with
their peers
