    The event is organized by the Bulgarian Cavers Society (BCS), Municipalty of Vratsa, Natural Park “Vratchanski Balkan”under the patronage of the Balkan Speleological Union (BSU). From June 21th to 26th 2016. Hundred of different kind of Caves are located close (about falf to 1 hour of walking) from the Camp. Some of the important caves are little bit far but easy reachable (pls. look at the list of the important caves below): Show Cave Ledenika – 300 m close to the Camp 1. Barki 14 Cave : length 2 600, depth 356’; 2. Beljar Cave : length 2 560, depth 282; 3. Barki 8 Cave : length 733, depth 190; 4. Mizhishnica Cave : length 855, depth 89; 5. Kalnata Cave : length 32, depth 86 ; 6. Zmejova Doupka Cave : length 122 ,depth 68; 7. Barki 07 Cave :7 length 156, depth 64; 8. Ponora River Cave, Chiren vill. Length 3 552 , depth – 46 m – 36 km far from the camp 9. Studenata Cave – Cherepish Monastery , 602 m length – 45 km far from the camp More than 100 other caves are available in in the area! All information concerning the caves should be displayed on the bulletin board within the camp.

    Length : 226 m. Depth: 30 (-14 ;+ 16) m

    As a whole, in the region more than 300 caves were


    known. More numerous, although smaller are the
    caves in the eastern part. However, in the western part
    most of the bigger vertical caves are situated. So far, in
    Vratsa Mountain there are seven cave potholes and
    proper potholes over 100 m deep (some of them also
    of considerable length).
    Besides the caves, the river caves, situated close to the
    big karstic springs, are also interesting. Here the show
    cave Ledenika is situated.

    Length : 2560 m; Depth: - 282 m

    BARKITE 8
    Length:733 m; Depth: - 208 m

    Depth: 33 m; Length: 112 m
