JOURNAL ENTRY 8 | think that today’s generation is very obsessed with the use of technology. In the novel Feed all are using this new technology named Feed by which they can connect to anyone talk with any one and know the happenings in the world. Everybody uses technology and I think | also like new technology but | am not much of a social guy. | am rather a quiet kind of a guy. I do use the social media but not much. My main method of communicating is like | text the person who | want to reach out too and it depends on who the person is, sometimes | call someone directly rather than texting or | just text them. In the novel these guys | guess are talking to each other face to face during the trip and they are kind of also talking to other people by using feed simultaneously sometime. The characters do use slang but it’s kind of normal language that we use in our day to day life but the level of slang is far more lower than the slang used in The Clockwork Orange.
