Thomasville High School, 410 Unity Street

A 14-year-old Thomasville High School student faces charges after a fight was reported on
Monday.
Juvenile petitions will be filed on the 14-year-old after he assaulted another student in a
classroom. During the altercation, a teacher was injured while trying to control the incident.
The 14-year-old will be charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct at school, and assault
on school personnel.
The other student received minor injuries and did not require medical attention. The teacher
was treated for minor injuries and released from Novant Health PrimeCare Express.
