JOURNAL WEEK # 4.

STUDY SKILLS.
Hello Miss Laura, this week journal #4 we started on Monday
(sept/7th/2015) and the class was about; NOTE-TAKING and NOTEMAKING.
Note-Taking: Is a passive process which is done at lectures, it allows you
to have a written record of the lecture which may not be in the textbook.
We talk about some tips we can follow to make sure when we do some
notes we do it correctly. Here are some examples or tips we can follow.
Setting the stage: I understand this as being ready or prepare for the
lecture, like we have to get familiar with the topic before going into the
lecture.
Bringing the right material: notebook, pen, pencil, and marker. Using pen
instead of pencil is one of the tips they mentioned, but I rather use
pencil because I love writing with pencils, and because if I make any
mistakes I can erase them and continue right away.
After this we talked about Note-Making process, which I understand this
as going back to your notes and organized the notes, read everything,
correct miss spelling words and the most important UNDERSTAND THE
CONCEPT.
At the end of this topic we made a presentation is groups to present in
front of the class, which I like because all groups or teams had different
opinions, I think all of them did well.
Miss Laura Im feeling good at this class but I like this class it is fun, we
work in teams, we give opinions and debate, but for history I dont know,
too much reading, looks hard to understand, but I guess thats how life
is. Well I think Im done for this weeks journal, seems short I dont know
why, sorry.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
