Travel Commercial Presentation

Grade 4: Strand A: Heritage and Identity- Early Societies- 3000

Task: As a group, you will research an Early society and present it to the
rest of the class in the form of a travel commercial based on the following 4
topics:
What are the..
1: Social/Political/Religious Systems: How is your Society governed/
Run? What type of religions exist in your society?
2: Ways of Life: What kind of jobs/food/clothes/housing/education exist in
your society?
3: Relationships with the Environment: What does the farming/fishing
hunting/gathering/climate and geography(mountains/fields/oceans/
volcanoes?) look like?
4: Arts and Culture: Sports/Games/Events? Music/painting/sculpting/
acting?
Like every good travel commercial you will also be responsible for writing
and performing a song, as well as creating a poster that hi-lights the
main ideas of your presentation. Not to worry, your teachers are here to
help you!
You will be marked both individually and as a group based on your own
contributions as well as the quality of your groups presentation.
