If E-types Adopt Edgy Approach

Pros:
Edgy approach is inline with their idea of smashing the world.
Edgy approach is point of differentiation of E-types compared to their competitors.
Employees will be happy, since they want their company to be different.
Cons:
The probability of getting the Denmark sports logo project decreases drastically.
The Probability of getting other projects also becomes difficult, if the company becomes
adamant about their edgy idea.

If E-types Adopt Traditional Approach

Pros:
The probability of getting the Denmark sports logo project increases.
The Probability of getting other projects also becomes relatively easy, if the
company is not adamant about their edgy idea.
Cons:
Traditional approach is not inline with their idea of smashing the world.
Traditional approach dilutes their point of differentiation.
Employees will be unhappy, since they want their company to be different.

Solution:

E-types should submit both the designs and make their employees understand that in
order to grow they should be little flexible. (This Denmark sports logo might not be a
big assignment but in future e-types can encounter same dilemma for big assignments)

In order to grow more clients, E-types should find right mix between traditional and
edgy approach. Surely, becoming traditional is not the solution as their will be no
point of differentiation.

E-types should also give what their clients expect from them. If their client require a
traditional design, the company can suggest that how edgy approach would be better
but it shouldnt be very adamant about their idea.

E-types by being Edgy, will not be able to grow at exceptional rate. It is very
ambitious company it should compromise little but should not deviated all together
from being Edgy.

Solution Contd..

Going forward:

Preferably, They should work with those clients who have similar idea of being
edgy or changing the world.

They can turn down smaller clients (in terms of revenue expected from
them), if they wanted a traditional design but they shouldnt turn down fat
clients. As it would be really difficult to grow without them.

They can appraise the need of Edgy design and explain that, this the future of
design to fat clients
