Career Objective

My career objective is to become a successful entrepreneur of a multi-million dollar

company. The way I chose to walk within this career path is simply because Ive
always wanted to be my own boss. Although I see myself as determined, hardworking team player within the workplace Ive always been interested with the
reality of creating your own hours, building your own yearly salary, and answering
to orders made by you. Also I want to become an entrepreneur because I want to
help the economy by providing jobs for those who are unemployed.
Employment opportunities
When it comes to wanting to be entrepreneur there are some major differences
when it comes in finding employment opportunities. The first major difference is
that employees seek direction while entrepreneurs create a pathway there create.
The second major difference is structure vs. infrastructure. While employees
generally prefer to have a defined range of responsibility, entrepreneurs consider
how each persons role contributes to the businessand its growthas a whole. The
third major difference is that employees dislike failure while entrepreneurs embrace
it because they see failure as a learning experience in order to become a step closer
to success.
However, the question still remains. What does an entrepreneur do that an
employee doesnt? Entrepreneurs are people who have ideas or products for the
business world. It is usually a new or different idea, something that has not been
seen before, or something that provides a new twist or improvement for an existing
sector.
However, I did some research in finding opportunities that could help guide young
entrepreneurs to a road of success. I came across a website that went by the name
of Canada business. I found that they offer a business opportunity that helps mentor
young Canadian entrepreneurs. Through this mentorship program one may learn
how to an effectively mentor and coach their employees within their business. Also,
those who join within this mentorship program will learn budgeting, accounting, and
marketing workshops.
However, with being an entrepreneur of your own company, there can be a number
of positives and negatives that come with choosing a career path that deal
entrepreneurship. Here are some advantages as well as disadvantages that come
with being your own boss.

Being your own boss

Employment Network & Career Plan

I was told that sometimes within the working world its not always about what you
know but its about who you know within your social network. They say that ones
personality often relates back to the five people they chose to hang around with. It
is very important to have people within your network with the same common goals
as you. This helps motivates as well as focus in creating and finding opportunities
within the workplace. However, since I want to be an entrepreneur in the future I
have setup five smart objective goals that I wish achieve within one year. The first
goal that I have set in place is to find people within my network to create and
register a company. The second goal is develop a business plan among my team
members that discloses the mission and vision of our company. The third and fourth
goal is open up a business account and have at least $10,000 dollars saved for start
up cost. The last goal is find a private investor so the company can begin
expanding.

On the other hand, setting up goals is crucial when planning your career path
because its help makes things clear and allows me to focus on my short-term goals
as well as plan out any long-term goals. I understand in taking this career path
requires me taking a risk in order for me to be successful but that is a risk Im
willing to take. I open to making mistakes and learning from my failures so I could
be one step closer to success. Lastly, Ill seek guidance so can find a mentor who
can coach me through seeing future problems before they even happen.
