Skills Rubric

Brief Description
I will use observation throughout the
unit to assess students formatively
and offer feedback daily. I will observe
for skills/technique, rules and fair
play, and well as participation.
I will use the effort rubric to assess
student on participation,
cooperation/teamwork, leadership,
and attendance. Students will all be
given a rubric at the beginning of the
unit and during one of the classes be
asked to assign themselves a
hypothetical grade based on where
they think they fall to ensure they are
thinking about how they participate.
I will use the skills rubric to assess
students on the level of participation,
performance of skills, and their
contributions to the class
